Questions & Answers

What is the safety factor of this product?

BAKE IT ONLY AFTER IT IS READY. The materials are for adults only, so children and pets cannot be around the products. Rather than baking it in your normal oven, use a toaster oven that is specifically made for baking clay!

Black clay that dries shiny is the best clay to use. What kind of finish does this have when it dries?

There isn't, but you can paint a layer of iridescent mica powder on it and it will make it look pretty and shiny. A shiny surface is not found in clay.

This is a terrible metal for making jewelry
3/5

If you bake according to directions, the cookies become so fragile. you're looking for a clay that can be used for jewelry making, this is not that clay.

This clay is awesome
5/5

I give it 5 out of 5 stars. It has got to be said that I normally use Premo clays, but when I purchased a LARGE box of Polyform Sculpey ll in white, to make molds and stuff, I was surprised by how much I enjoyed using it Because it was significantly cheaper than Premo clay, and I loved the white so much and had no doubt I would love the black, so I kept it and In the same way that the white is so easy to work with and condition, this one is very easy as well. I find that it becomes extremely soft very quickly, so I can condition it much easier than There are some times when it is a little harder to get the clay out of a small mold because it gets incredibly soft, but I still like the Despite the fact that it has a thick consistency, I find it so much easier to use, and I can definitely see how it would be a nice soft clay for children to play with. When powder pigments are applied to this black clay, the colours are absolutely gorgeous, which seems to be a distinct difference from Excellent clay. I am very pleased with it. My next purchase will definitely be this item.

The color is not really black! Warning this is a dangerous situation
3/5

The color is nice and soft, but it can be considered a dark gray instead of black. Regardless of whether I am using this color shift mica powder in pieces I am making, I will not be buying My next purchase will be Fimo on the more expensive end. Very.

Polymer clay that you can trust
5/5

Sculpey is one of my favorite toys. Although I didn't use this brick completely, I did put it to good use in my college art classes and later gave it to my roommate so she could continue to enjoy.

It is expensive
3/5

I'm not sure why polymer clay has become so expensive. At Amazon, a pound of polymer clay costs 10 dollars more than a pound at the craft store. What's the reason?.

Small projects will be easy with this
5/5

The project I needed to complete was completed quickly thanks to the program. Nevertheless, it was a little stiff and needed to be rolled and folded several times before it was really able to do its job.
