Overall, I like the set, but the rolling pin had a hole in it, and there was a bug in it, as if it had burrowed down and died. As a result, I've taken out the rolling pin. The other tools, on the other hand, are excellent.

These were purchased for my 11-year-old granddaughter, who is a talented artist. She had a strong desire to learn how to sculpt. It's a hit with her! She was enthralled by the tools and the opportunity to express herself through clay. Purchase was excellent.

For my daughter's 13th birthday, I bought these for her. She is a budding artist who enjoys working in a variety of mediums. We had a smaller'starter' kit from another company that was more 'childish' and contained more low-quality plastic pieces. I believe a beginner artist could use it, but I would not recommend it for younger children unless they are supervised by an adult because there are some very sharp pieces, as one would expect from someone who can carve and shape clay. To her artistry box, this is a nice tool set!.

I've dabbled in sculpey over the years, but I wanted to try something more intricate in October with very small pieces. I bought these tools because they have so many great options for whatever you want to do with clay. This is something I would strongly recommend to anyone working on a sculpey project!.

This is an excellent purchase for beginners because the tools arrived in excellent condition. I only have to be careful with one of the wooden tools that has a drill shape because it appears to be easily breakable. I also like how it includes a case to keep the tools in.

This is an excellent set for beginners such as myself. I'm just getting started with polymer clay, so learning about all of these tools is helpful.

There are so many! If you want to try out all of the tools and are a beginner, this is a great purchase. I took ceramics a few years ago, and the tools are sturdy enough for handbuilding (and likely just as well for throwing clay).
