It is thick and of high quality! This is a good quality video. Those who use coated braided cotton wicks (beeswax wicks) in the #4 and larger size will have trouble getting them through. This is the perfect wick for smaller candles. The following edits have been made After ordering a new set, I found that though these EricX tabs are better than the new ones I ordered, the holes are larger and the larger hole is good for larger wicks. Metal of these is heavy duty, and when I squeeze the neck around the wick with pliers, the bottom does not bend.

Every year, I make tons of candles (votives and tea lights) for gifts. These worked perfectly for me after I bought them. My next time I will find tea lights in a tinier size, but everyone loved them and I am sure I will do it again soon.
