How Our Score Is Calculated

Product Description

In order to make a candle with a wooden wick, you need to know the length. Having it too long will not allow the wax at the bottom to absorb. As a result of the wax oil covering the wax wick when the wick is too short, the flame will be too small or not be able to burn. It is perfect to select the remaining 1/4 inch length of wax wick.
After starting the ignition, it is best to keep it going for no less than 10 seconds. Don't remove the source of ignition too soon. In candlemaking, candle wax memory refers to the way wax melts and burns after it's been lit for the first time. The first burn creates a wax pattern or memory that's carried over for subsequent burns. During the first burn, your candle will melt in a particular way for the rest of its lifetime.
Using the common industrial paraffin available on the market, 1 piece of wood candle wicks plus one metal base is sufficient to burn a wood core completely.
Please insert 2 pieces of wood candle wicks and 1 metal bottom if you are using natural soybean wax or beeswax, so that they can easily be lit.
Fix the candle wicks to the iron stand and place into a container lined with 13 by 1 inches. It measures 5 cm (3. It takes one x 0 to make one. 5 inches) If the candle core is too long, you can trim it to obtain the appropriate length.

This isn't the best I've had
3/5

The pros include Prices are decent and come with wick bases, but the cons are As they would not stay lit in my soy candles, I had to double them up and soak them in olive oil. Overall, I would not buy these wood wicks again, because I cannot sell the candle I made with them due to fear that they will not burn.

You can save both time and money this way
3/5

In a nutshell, As you can see in the video, these wicks did not stay lit. As some other reviewers have done, I soaked one in olive oil and the other in the essential oil I used. As you can see from the picture, the smaller candle (last pictured) was yet to be soaked in anything to see which wicks work best. It turns out that wick just isn't that useful. These wicks are inefficient and will cost you time and money. I am so disappointed.

The price is cheap and the product may pose a safety risk
3/5

These wicks are super cheap and of low quality. Don't waste your money on these. This stuff is like cheap particleboard. I certainly don't recommend putting them on the fire.

It's pointless to burn useless wicks
3/5

It was not possible to light these wicks It would take seconds for them to fizz out and not last. For this reason, I had to remelt all my candles in the slow cooker in order to pull out those wicks and replace them with traditional wicks. I was a massive waste of time and money, and I also was greatly disappointed with this! As much as I would like to, I would rank it 0 stars.

It is hard to open, but it burns well! As a novice candle maker, I have a lot to learn
4/5

My only problem is that I have difficulty assembling these wicks. They burn perfectly, however, assembling them has been a hassle. As the metal portion of the wick is so tightly nailed together, I have to use a credit card to pry it open so that I can insert the wood wick. Although I know it won't go anywhere once I place the wick, I'm not optimistic about it. No doubt will buy again, but it does take some.

Spending money at the wrong time- This is pointless
3/5

Five times I've lit this wick and it goes out every time it reaches the wax level. I don't know why I wasted my We had to replace the item after the original package arrived damaged. The Chinese products in this category are useless.

I have mixed feelings about this
4/5

My mind is blown by the idea. As you pour the wax, these are very easy to place and keep in place. There is no smoke or soot on the candles when they burn. Only problem I have is that while it burns steady once it starts, I have to relight it several times to keep it going. This makes it burn like a charm after that.

I cannot get it to work
3/5

Worked great for me but not for you! The oil doesn't keep a flame lit when I try it alone, with 3 types of oils, and it doesn't keep a flame lit with any of them.
