I bought 10 pound for general use (waxing canvas, wood polishing, etc. ) and haven't used it yet, but I did try making candles for the first time with some old jars, cedar wood wicks, and essential oils, and they turned out beautifully. Although the microwave beat the water bath in terms of speed, I'm sold - It's difficult to beat a 1 pound, $4 wood wick scented candle. br>br>There is no bee-related sediment, and the wax is spotless. Will buy again without a doubt!.
I suppose it's fine for candles, but not for the skin care products I'm trying to create.
This was a gift, and it was used to make candles.
Beeswax aids in the prevention of candle smoke. The candle will also be firmer as a result of it. To see which candle is the most desirable, I'm combining it with stearic acid and soy wax.
I usually buy from another distributor, but I wanted to give this one a shot. It appears to take longer for this brand to reach the melting point, and when it does, the coloration is darker than my usual brand, but it appears to work just as well.
Despite the fact that the description says WHITE, I received yellow pellets. Because of the yellow base, the coloring didn't hold up. When I used Ritz Truly Green, the candle turned a light teal color.
Everything was exactly as described, and the packaging was excellent.
