Questions & Answers
I just went through my collection of wax and sniffed it-- There's no trace of smokiness, and the scent is light and floral, but you have to hold them up to your nose to notice it. Unless the batch differs, you should be fine.
Meyer's Beeswax got in touch with me. They say: The FDA has given beeswax a GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe) rating. If there's anything else I can do for you, please let me know. Don
Hello, I contacted the manufacturer for further information. They say: "The melting and cooling temperatures of pure beeswax vary naturally. Beeswax has a standard melting point of 62-65 degrees Celsius. " I'm hoping this is of assistance. Don
White beeswax was sent to me.

My first order was for beeswax pellets, which I had no idea were made in China (and smelled awful). My second order stated USDA, but the product was made in India and had a slight chem smell. I came back once more. Finally, finally, finally, finally, finally, finally, finally, finally, finally, finally, finally, finally, finally MADE IN THE UNITED STATES AND SMELLS AMAZING. I'll buy it again.
I bought this product to make my own beeswax food wraps, and it's made in the United States. After looking at a lot of options, I decided to try this one because it's made in the United States and the pellets are about the size of paper cuttings from a three-hole punch. They melted nicely, and the final wrap is holding up well. They have a honey scent to them, with no artificial scents. A resealable plastic bag contains the beeswax pellets.
I've recently begun making my own lip balms and lotion bars, and these beeswax pellets have surpassed my expectations. I could smell the bag all day because it has the sweet, honeyed scent that I associate with beeswax. They're made in South Dakota and come packaged simply. They're the real deal, and I'm looking forward to putting them to work. br>br>My first beeswax pellet purchase was from a different company - Sky Organics is a company that produces organic products. Moreover, despite their high Amazon ratings, they have a strong chemical odor. Meyers beeswax pellets smell so much better than the first batch that I'm starting to doubt their authenticity.
I decided to try this product/brand because it is 100% USA beeswax, triple-milled in the United States of America. The water is filtered, cosmetic-grade, and simple to use. br>br>I like how small the pellets are, how easily and uniformly they melt, and how subtle the honey scent is. I'm allergic to scents, so the fact that this is a natural, softly scented product (the size and color of the pellets can be seen in the photo) is particularly appealing. The color is a natural soft cream color. I could live with my nose buried in the bag because it smells like heaven, or at the very least honey. br>br>I've used them to make lotion bars (see photo) and will be using them to make a variety of other items, including candles. The pellets dissolve quickly and evenly distribute essential oils. It's simple to put together, clean up, and enjoy. I believe the price is reasonable for the quality, and I will place another order in the near future. I'm hoping that as my needs grow, I'll be able to purchase larger quantities because this is one of the products I don't want to be without right now.
My first review was rejected for unknown reasons, so this is my second attempt to commend this seller! It smells exactly like beeswax should, is beautifully packaged, and arrived quickly. This beeswax is a must-have for me. It's the genuine article. I made candles out of it and lotion bars out of it. They have a wonderful aroma and perform admirably!.
Made in the United States of America. They didn't look old or dusty at all. The wax itself was consistent in color and wasn't blended with other ingredients, and it came in a clean package with no strange fuzz, hairs, or dirt. To the touch, it was silky and soft. I will most certainly purchase this product again, and I strongly recommend it as a safe product to use.
I've bought a lot of beeswax over the years, and I've finally found my favorite: it doesn't have a harsh chemical scent like many others on the market, but it does have a soft honey scent that isn't overpowering. This is the genuine article!.
It smells divine and melts quickly, making it ideal for soaps, salves, and candles. You will not be disappointed if you purchase it.
