Questions & Answers
No, I haven't come across any. I like the beeswax because it is of good quality and can be used to make candles.
I used mineral oil to melt the pellets. I was completely oblivious to everything. If it wasn't for the fact that I didn't notice the melting bits - sorry.
I don't know if I just found it on Amazon. I simply chose the most cost-effective option for me.

It doesn't have the honey scent that it should. I'm not sure if it's beeswax or not.
I was making a salve at the time. It was in a small Mason jar in a saucepan of boiling water when I made it. Almond oil and Shea butter were also included in the jar. On MD to High temperature, it had been boiling for over 20 minutes. Even though I stirred it constantly, it never completely melted. This is the first time I've used this product, and I won't be purchasing it again. I'd give it back if I had the option. I've never had a problem with other types of beeswax pellets. The pellets that did not melt became transparent.
The quality of this beeswax was very disappointing! I needed it for candlemaking, so I went with a different brand of beeswax than I had previously used - a massive blunder This DOES NOT MELTS CLEANLY. It leaves grainy bits in the mix that, no matter how hard I tried, never melted. br>I'm hoping it doesn't affect my candles' performance!.
They function perfectly, but their melting point is incorrect. In my pain balm, I use beeswax, and this one didn't completely melt down. It had obvious pellets on the surface after it had cooled. I had to wait for it to cool down, scrape off the pellets, and then re-assemble it. Re-pour the balm after it has melted down. I have a 2 pound bag that I will not use because it entails TOO MANY ADDITIONAL STEPS!.
This year, I made candles out of it as a gift. Half of my candles were made of paraffin and half of them were made of beeswax. I'd read that beeswax candles burn longer and hold their scent better than paraffin candles. They turned out beautifully, and the wax didn't turn my candles yellow in the least.
The item was delivered on time, but the consistency of the pellets was not to my liking, and they do not melt clear; they still have a slight yellow tint, which is noticeable when expecting clear.
I'm not sure what's wrong with it, but it ruined the batch of lotion bars I was working on. When I was melting it, it looked like tapioca, and it never completely melted.
This isn't even beeswax, I'm not sure. Don't buy this for the sake of your wallet. It's a complete waste of money, and it's not even what's advertised on the website.
