60 wicks, 8 inch wick length, pre-waxed and tabbed. diameter of the base: 12 5mm
Candle wicks made of 100% cotton do not contain lead zinc or other metals
60 pieces of Heat Resistance Glue candle wick stickers keep your wicks in place in hot wax.

Questions & Answers

Is this waxed and ready to use already?

Waxing has been applied to them. The wicks in the batch I ordered, however, were all defective. They're sputtering and sooting furiously. I almost had a fire because it threw sparks onto a roll of paper towels from about 5 feet away.

Are the wicks made of soy wax or a different type of wax?

Paraffin wax is used to coat these. Cotton (on the inner layer of the wicks) is the only other material used. This is a fantastic query! I hope this information is useful!

Thank you. Is this suitable for tea lights or votives?

You can cut the wicks to the size you need for tea or votive candles, but rather than wasting so much of the 8 inch wick, you might be able to find a smaller size in a larger quantity for a similar price.

What is the total burn time of one of these wicks?

If you make the candle correctly, it will burn for about 100 hours. I started with crayons, and the wick burned for about an hour - As a result, use the candle-making supplies that have been recommended to you.

Candles with a diameter greater than 2" are not permitted
3/5

To pass the time during quarantine, I decided to start making soy candles, so I did a lot of research and ordered everything I needed online, including beeswax. After pouring 18, 8-ounce candles, I discovered that there are differences in size and material that affect a candle's burn, and that some are better than others for each type of wax or material. I decided to get into candlemaking to kill time during quarantine, so I did a lot of research and ordered everything I needed online, including beeswax. After pouring 18, 8-ounce candles, I discovered that different work sizes and materials have an impact on a candle's burn, and that some are better than others for each type of wax or material. We used 8 ounce mason jars with a 3 inch diameter, and the flame only went about 2 inches in diameter during my burn test. I tested this method with a variety of containers and found that it works best with containers that are 2 inches in diameter or smaller.

It makes a mess with the candles
3/5

This wick, as you can see in the photo, does not throw any wax and only burns the center. In addition, black residue is visible. Now I have the option of either throwing away or wasting the wax, or dealing with the mess on my own.

It floated up because it didn't stick at all (review updated)
5/5

So I made eight candles, and they turned out beautifully at first! The sticky was still there, as was the wick. However, after two of them had been lit for a while, the sticky floated up and ruined them both. I'm not sure why this happened, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to get a refund or not. It's a shame because I really like your brand!br>Update: I emailed support and they said they would give me a refund because I didn't hold it down for at least 10 seconds, which is why it didn't stick. Thank you very much!.

It is simple to use
5/5

I purchased this because I was tired of my Bath and Body Works candles burning down with only 1/4 of the wax remaining and no wick to burn. I melted the wax from four of my candles that had 1/4 of the wax left in a pan with water, poured it all into one candle, and placed these in the hot wix to make a new one!.

Stickers are fantastic, Wicks are terrible, and the holder is mediocre at best
3/5

I love the stickers! They're highly recommended because they make securing the candle to the bottom of the candle holder (in my case, a tea cup) a breeze. The WICKS, on the other hand, are a complete nightmare. I had already made 20 tea cup candles with a different brand wick with no problems, and I made ten more last night with these wicks, but as soon as the soy wax was poured in, the wicks became limp as wet noodles and would not "stand" straight unless pulled straight. Not a good idea. The wick holder, on the other hand, is a bit of a mishmash. The concept is sound, but the hole through which the wick was fed was too large for the wick, and because the wick kept bending in the wax, it was useless for holding it up. Instead, I covered everything with scotch tape.

The wicks are adequate, but not large enough for large candles
4/5

These wicks are in good condition and do their job. They've worked flawlessly for me. They are, however, insufficient to light a 16-ounce mason jar candle. I've started using them in smaller mason jars (8 oz. ) and they're great! They're obviously much longer than necessary for that size jar, but I simply cut the wick off at the top- It is not a problem. You'll need a larger wick or two wicks if you want to make large candles. If you're using parafin wax, you'll need three of these wicks per candle.

Wicks of exceptional quality
5/5

These wicks performed admirably in my tests, burning evenly, cleanly, and quickly. br>br>I had two expensive large wide candles with three wicks that I used most of the time. They looked fantastic, but they burned horribly. I was about to throw them away when I realized that the problem could be bad wicks, so I decided to drill a small hole in them and replace them with these wicks (leaving the original wicks in place). br>br>I used four of these fantastic wicks in each of the two candles, and they work perfectly. They turned a bad-burning candle into a great-burning candle, so these wicks get two thumbs up. I strongly advise you to purchase them.

Years of old candle parts were recycled into brand new candles with the help of a single package of wicks
5/5

These wicks were used in a batch of candles I made out of candle scraps. I made several large new candles in the glass containers I'd saved from old ones over the years for just the cost of these wicks and the time it took to sort colors and melt down old candle bits. I enjoy being able to turn trash into useful items with only a few dollars in supplies. They've all done a fantastic job of burning - There are no issues with them burning out or failing to light. br>These are very light wicks. It's only big enough to melt a 3 or 4 inch diameter object. So, if you're making a candle with a larger diameter, you should use two or more wicks, depending on the diameter of the container, and space them up to 5 or 6 inches apart. br>br>The centering device is useful, as long as the mouth of your container isn't too wide for it (in which case, you can improvise with something longer, like a pair of scissors opened across the top of the container, or some tied-off twine). chop sticks in a group ) The centering device is only long enough to span something about the size of a peanut butter jar in diameter.
