Perhaps the SELLER or BEEKEEPER could use a "different wood" in the smoke pot to calm the bees while collecting honey and wax? Seller, how are you? What are your thoughts on the subject? People throwing away your product is not a good sign, and it wastes bees' lives. Buyers, you can always add a Robust Olive Oil to your bees wax or candles to add scent, which gives them a lovely fruity scent.
There's no mention of where the bag came from on the bag. I've used this product for a number of DIY projects and am happy with the results.
Without a doubt. It's easy to melt and combine. It's also what I used to make wood conditioner for my wooden utensils and cutting boards recently.
Lavander, citrus, or lemon fragrances are all acceptable options. Those are going to be fantastic.

You are purchasing at your own risk. For years, I've been making salves/hand creams and board butter for cutting boards and wooden utensils, so I've tried a variety of beeswax brands. I figured I'd give this Beesworks a try because it has over 4000 positive reviews. It will only set you back ten dollars. I definitely received value for my money. I'm not sure what this stuff is made of or why it's so popular. br>br>Because this is an e-book, I usually don't write reviews. I'm in e-commerce, and I'm just returning products that aren't of good quality. However, I believe that this item poses a health risk. br>br>For starters, it will mold. The antibacterial and antifungal properties of beeswax have long been known. Mold isn't supposed to grow on this stuff! br>br>I was making a few batches of hand salves and was using a different brand of beeswax, but I ran out halfway through, so I poured some Beesworks pellets into the same oil mixture and hoped for the best. It didn't go well. The wax took a long time to melt, so I stirred the mixture thoroughly before dividing it into tins with a syringe. When I went to put the Beesworks' wax on the tins to cover them, I noticed that the oils and "beeswax" had separated, leaving only a thin layer of wax on top. That wasn't supposed to happen like that. br>br>I believe what happened was that the oils mixture and the so-called beeswax separated as soon as I stirred it and while it was still in the pot! As a result, when I dipped the syringe in, the top layer of wax was bypassed, and I only got oil. The wax simply sat on top of the oils, as you can see in the photo. Worst of all, I discovered after a few days that the mixture had turned moldy! I had about two cups of the oils and wax mixture left, but I was out of tins, so I decided to let it thicken and heat it up when I got more. When I went to make more salves about 5 days later, I discovered that the contents had developed MOLD and that the wax and oils had completely separated. The wax had simply solidified on top of the oil! What the **** are you talking about? br>I wish I'd taken a picture of it before throwing it away. br>br>Because I still had 3/4 of the Beesworks pellets, I opened it to see what was going on. It smelled musty, moldy, and plasticky, to say the least. I inhaled through my nose, which was a mistake. I felt sick to my stomach and wanted to puke. No joke. br>br>As you can see in the photo, the massive 5 pound block of beeswax I have is authentic. In the United States, it's made of beeswax. It has a pleasant, soothing scent that reminds me of honey. It is significantly more expensive per pound, but it is well worth the investment. br>br>I make salves and board butter for mostly family and friends, so the cost of quality products is well worth the peace of mind that comes with knowing I'm using real natural ingredients. br>br>Anyway, thank you for taking the time to read this! I hope this information is useful.
Before making a purchase, I read reviews. I wasn't sure because so many people had complained about the foul odor. I know exactly how real beeswax smells because I grew up in the presence of bees and hives. And I still received a product, the scent of which transported me back to my childhood. This beeswax smells exactly like it should, and when someone who doesn't know how beeswax should smell leaves a negative review, it misleads other buyers and prevents them from purchasing a perfectly good product.
I recently purchased this beeswax because of the high star rating and many positive reviews, but I am extremely disappointed with it for one major reason. It has a foul odor! Although the wax appears to be in good condition, the odor is revolting. When I melted it down, it filled my kitchen with a foul odor that I couldn't get rid of no matter how many essential oils I added to the balms I made with it. When I first opened the package, the wax smelled horrifying, but I foolishly assumed that once I made my scented balms, the smell would "go away. " I was sorely mistaken. This wax has a scent that is a mix of a dirty ashtray, chemicals, and burnt rubber or plastic. It makes me want to vomit just by smelling it. Disgusting in every way. I will never buy this product again, and I strongly advise anyone else not to do so as well. It was a huge let down.
Got me yet again, but this time in a different package? This has a strong burnt plastic odor, which gets worse when melted. It's almost entirely made up of paraffin wax! It is self-evident that this is not pure beeswax.
(A way to Test It) The wax turns darker and clearer as it burns, whereas the ACTUAL Real 100% beeswax candle remains cloudy and% br>br>I recently purchased a brick of wax from Animal Supply that smells divinely of sweet honey and has a much more pleasant texture (less plastic!). It's fantastic! My new favorite are "Texas Honey" bricks. They have yet to disappoint me. br>br>Instead of buying this rip-off, get the brick, smell it (it's sweet and smells exactly like honey), chop it up yourself, and enjoy the true benefits of beeswax. In addition! br>br> Because I'm allergic to paraffin wax, it's OUTRAGEOUS for this company to put people's lives in jeopardy just to make a quick buck! It's revolting!.
For a variety of projects, this is ideal. This is the first time I've ever used beeswax in a craft project. The presentation was excellent- There are no tears, as there have been in the past, and it seals very well. It has a waxy scent with a light honey undertone. I even took a piece out and bit it between my teeth to check the texture--it was soft and pliable. not to be consumed). This is what I used to make beeswax wrap and homemade lotions. It takes a long time to melt, but once it does, it melts very quickly. This product has exceeded my expectations, and I will purchase it again if I run out.
This Beeswax is High Quality Cosmetic Grade and comes in a one-pound resealable bag. I only use the best ingredients in my lip balms and bath products, and this Beeswax is perfect! It's so much easier to use beeswax pellets than it is to use a block of it because it melts faster and more evenly, there's no need to shave it down, it's easier to measure, and it's all ready to use. It's the perfect shade of yellow, and it smells wonderful, just like it should. It's also in excellent condition, with no clumping or color changes. br>br>In addition to lip balms and soaps, I also make bath bombs, soaps, and moisturizing bars, which are all very effective! There are numerous other applications for beeswax. This would work well in candles, creams and lotions, and a variety of other crafts. Beeswax of this quality is extremely difficult to come by, but this product is fantastic! I'll be purchasing more in the near future. In addition, for a one-pound bag, it is reasonably priced. I highly recommend this Beeswax because it is the best I've ever used, and my lip balms turned out beautifully.
