With the metal clasp dangling out, you can slip the wick into a straw. Apply hot glue to the metal and place it inside your jar. Apply even pressure with the straw. The glue should hold the wick in place if your wax isn't over 150 degrees Fahrenheit when you pour it.
That same question has remained unanswered for me. It says it's made of beeswax in a few places, and it says it's made of soy wax in others. Which of the two is it?
I was able to make 2- 75" made with 464 soy in a 3. A larger wick was required for the 125" jar.
They are, in fact, quite thick. I'm going to use them in 3x3 jars. Every time I light it, I cut the wick all the way down before lighting it, and the flame gets big and smoky after about an hour. I've decided to make camping candles with spent wax melts for use outside with the remaining wicks. Two months later, I'm still on the hunt for thinner eco wicks.

These wicks consume a lot of time to burn. They come highly recommended from me!.
My soy candle is still burning after 12 hours, and the wicks are doing a fantastic job. I'm glad I gave these a shot.
I'm starting a candle-making hobby, so I ordered these wicks, and they're working out well so far. I used small mason jars and had to shorten the wicks a little, but they lasted quite a while.
I used them to make scap wax candles in Mason jars. Sturdy and efficient in terms of combustion. For an 8oz jar, this is a good height.
This wick is very thick and creates a mushroom effect in addition to a high flame. I got a nice throw and wax pool, but the candle will not last because of the bad wick; I had to turn it off every hour to trim the wick to get a lower flame. I tried it with three wicks and a single wick on two different vessels. I've always used this wax and have never gotten these results.
Soot, soot, and more soot! It's all over my apartment!.
tabbed. I'm annoyed because I paid for all wicks to be tabbed, but there are at least ten wicks that aren't. I assumed it had fallen off in the bag, but after searching the entire bag, I realized I had been mistaken. I'm unable to return it at this time because I've already used some and require them for my candle-making. I will not purchase from this seller again, and I strongly advise you to avoid doing so unless you want to pay for an item that does not meet its description.
The wicks were delivered quickly and burned well. My only criticism is that the stickers used to secure the wicks to the bottom are not sufficiently sticky. They frequently become unsticked, complicating the process.
