Despite the small size, I didn't like it. The popsicle sticks are appealing to me because of their look and feel. Look at how classy the wood is. During the winter, I constructed a hideout for my hamster out of these. It was a surprise to discover they were this long, I thought they would be the normal size popsicle sticks but these are thin so I had to use more, which was a pain since cutting them was difficult. Anyhow, this wood is of very high quality. A luxury mansion would be a better description of my hamster house. Although he has attempted to chew them, so far, they have not broken.
There is no natural finish on these, they have a coating on them. I won't buy them.
For naming my seedling pots, I used these picks so that I could write their names on the sticks. There was no issue with unpacking. It was flat, clear and inclusive.
Because I don't double dip in the wax, and these are perfect for making large amounts, I prefer buying a large amount. Additionally, these items might be of use to people who like to do crafts or have classes.
These are the best popsicle sticks I've ever purchased! I know they're only popsicle sticks, but they're extremely high quality! Strong, smooth, and free of knots. Mixing sticks and modeling are two of the things I do with mine. It would be beautiful, but they'd need to take up more space The average art project costs about $200.
This is not a great purchase It was just not what I had hoped for. As soon as you pick them up, they fall apart. Too narrow to be of much use. Even though they are bound in groups, they fall apart once you pick them up. Getting to know you better Pay what you want, and you will get what you want.
These were purchased from the Cub Scout store to experiment with making stick bombs with my unit, but they are so stiff that it is impossible for an adult to get the first couple of sticks in place, and the kids will have an even harder time doing it. For crafts and similar purposes, they might be okay.
The "popsicle" sticks I've used over the previous years to mix the epoxy in tiny cups and apply it to various tasks are hundreds in number. My favorite part about these is how easily they break (just by adding glue into a small hole, for example). I've already broken a few, and I'm surprised each time. They are nicely finished, but made from very soft wood. It has been my experience that Walmart's are actually stronger than others.
