Everything I've bought from New Brothreads has been of excellent quality. The thread racks are made of hard wood and are very well constructed. If you have counter space, they can stand alone, or you can hang them on the wall with push pin hangars. THEY ARE AMAZING. The pegs are the perfect size for New Brothreads Threads, and I have plenty of room to expand my thread collection.
This is a good deal for the money. The units are basic, but they do their job well. br>br>The good news is that the distance between legs allowed me to use all of them for my embroidery threads. I could only use every other per because the other units were too close together. This one, on the other hand, was ideal for me. The downside is that the pegs are short, which may be a problem for some people. Personally, I added two more. 5" lengths of straw to make the pegs longer. This was the most effective for me in terms of adding stability. br>br>Recent changes - I received a direct response from the seller. My concerns were escalated to their quality control team, and they offered me a different solution to my problem. As a result, I am looking forward to doing more business with them in the future.
These thread holders appeal to me because they are the most cost-effective option available. I like how the space between the dowels is just big enough for my Isacord thread's base. However, doubling the length of the prongs (dowels) would greatly improve the design. The thread spool is currently twice the height of the prong, causing them to droop forward (top-heavy). This leads to a lot of unpredictability. When I try to remove a spool in some places, I have to hold on to all of the surrounding spools for dear life, or about 5 to 6 of them will fall off when I remove one. That would not happen if the prongs were the same length as, or slightly longer than, the spool.
The package included extra spindles in case one broke during shipping, and it arrived well packaged and on time. Although none of mine were broken, having extra spindles is useful because spindles can break over time. The size is ideal for a table or wall hanging, and unlike other thread holders, it is not excessively large. Sulky petites and Gutermann threads, as well as regular and larger Coats and Clarks thread spools, will fit in these holders. They aren't intended for use with large thread cones. This seller and product are both highly recommended.
I've been sewing for a long time and can't believe it's taken me so long to get my act together. Get your hands on these brand new brothread racks! It was a breeze to put together (thank you, Honey!). ) It's also enjoyable to arrange all of your threads in the order that makes the most sense to you! I'm sure I've got more thread (it's all over!). ), all I have to do now is locate it and fill it! (Hopefully, I'll still be able to buy more thread!) Brenda.
If you're using Floriani or a similar thread, the spools will start falling off the first row when you try to fill the second row. They would fall off at the slightest provocation. I solved the problem by making the spindle longer by cutting straws. It is unlikely that you will be able to use the entire row. This was mentioned in the product description. A couple of things will have to be turned upside down.
They come in packs of four with 60 spools of thread each. They appear to be well-made and durable. They were simple to mount on my sewing room's wall. The pegs are long enough to accommodate a variety of thread spool sizes. They should last a long time, in my opinion. Overall, I think they're good. So far, they haven't caused me any problems.
br>Now I can actually find what I'm looking for by sorting my threads by number. br>The service was prompt, and the product was in excellent condition when it arrived. The only drawback is that I'll need to purchase more thread to finish filling them. LOL.
