Questions & Answers

Is it possible for me to sew on it while sitting down?

There isn't much room for your legs with the door shut. I open the door and take a seat in a chair to work on my sewing. When the door is open and propped up, I like the extra space provided by the side table. Once the door is open, there are also compartments on the inside to store useful items. There's even a footrest!

The color appears to be more espresso than cherry in appearance. That's correct, right? For me, a cup of espresso would suffice. ?

Cinnamon Cherry is a dark brown finish with subtle graining that is best described as a dark brown finish. Espresso is a good description for the finish. A color sample will be sent to you at no cost. Please call us at 1 (800) 222-4444. 800- 523- 3987 Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., our Consumer Services department is open. 00 a. to 5: 30 p. Is the sewing machine table height sufficient for the sewing machine to fit on top when it is open for sewing? Isn't it a little perplexing with its descriptors?

The table has a 28-inch top. The floor is 5 inches above it. There's plenty of room to sit in a chair with your legs under the table when the table is open like this. The tabletop measures 19 inches in diameter. This table is great because it is 5 inches wide and my sewing machine's base is 7 inches wide. There is plenty of room on the table for my sewing machine. It appeals to me. There's plenty of space for everything, and it's built to last. It does not come assembled, however, and putting it together takes some time.

Sturdy, attractive, and with a lot of storage! This table/cart's overall construction is quite solid
5/5

It is simple to put together. There's a ton of it. It's very nice looking. I did, however, replace the knobs and upgrade the wheels to larger ones. The carts are fantastic. br>br> I have a lot of stuff because I run a home business that involves designing and sewing projects. My space has been severely limited since I recently moved into a more expensive, but much smaller apartment. I had two large 6ft heavy fold out tables, as well as a plethora of bins and other items when I first started; This appeared to be extremely unattractive as well. Everything fit perfectly in the two carts after I tossed the tables! The carts are extremely durable. br>br> Anyone who claims they fall apart hasn't put them together correctly. By the way, putting it together is a breeze. It took me an hour to put each cart together. The screws and hinges were all jumbled together in one single bag, which was a drawback. Sorting that out was a pain. br>br>I use a fairly heavy industrial walking foot sewing machine by Sailrite (I do not recommend that sewing machine; it's built horribly and their customer service is nice until there's a problem; instead, buy a reliable barracuda!). ) and the table is more than capable of supporting it, even when I'm squeezing my way through some fabrics. My dog enjoys doing tricks, and while I was taking photos, she decided the cutting mat would be a great place to "park it," so she parked her butt on top of it and it didn't move. Her 45-pound weight was no problem for me to support. However, for a variety of reasons, I do not recommend allowing your dogs to sit on your cabinet. br>br>The original casters did not shake while sewing, but they were inexpensive and did not "lock. " The carts are crammed with my belongings. There is a lot of heavy upholstery fabric in this room. All of a sudden, everything comes together. With the original caster feet, I can still wheel the carts around my laminate floors, carrying my heavy items. The color is extremely dark. br>br> I wish I had bought white because they would have looked like an extension of my kitchen cabinets in my "dining room," which is also my craft room. br>br>The first cart was perfect, but I chipped one of the edges while putting it together, and the second cart had a chip in one of the edges when I took it out of the box. There's no need to be concerned. I'll just use wood glue to finish it off. Restoration Hardware doesn't make furniture like this. br>br>Because the hardware was drab and cheap-looking, I replaced the knobs with satin nickel knobs from Amazon. For me, the table is too low. Because my chair is higher, I prefer tables that are a little higher as well. I swapped out the small plastic 2" casters for 4" polyurethane casters. The casters can be upgraded to make moving the cabinets even easier, and the lock mechanism works flawlessly. Alternatively, you can buy a folding leg attachment that allows you to raise the ledge without having to open the door. I had forgotten the table top was supported by the door, so I shut it, sending the table top and everything on it crashing to the ground. br>br>A few days ago, I placed an order for two on Amazon. The first one was under $89, and when I placed the second order a few hours later, the price had risen to $140, despite the fact that Walmart and other stores were still selling it for less than $100. I spoke with Amazon over the internet, and they advised me to pound sand. If I could find it cheaper somewhere else, I would buy it. I spoke with someone from Amazon on the phone, and she simply said, "uuuuhhhhhhh that's not Amazon Prime," and then hung up. I decided to call again, and I was greeted by a lovely young lady who allowed me to purchase the second cart for the same price as the first one, which I had paid a few hours prior to the second order. Kaye V. deserves a special mention. with Amazon's customer service department! She's lovely, professional, and she actually listened to what I had to say.

The ideal table for budget-conscious sewers! I'd always wanted a good sewing table, and after more than a decade of using a generic white 6 ft folding table, it was time to upgrade! I began my search by looking at high-end sewing brands (Kangaroo, Koala, Arrow, and so on) and quickly realized that I wasn't about to spend one to three months' worth of mortgage payments on this
5/5

WHO. DOES. THAT? (I mean, I REALLY want to know who is purchasing those. ) *slight smirk* ) No, I'm not joking. This is clearly a market in need of some competition. GASP! Anyhow. br>br> I waited patiently for my cart to arrive after gathering my breath and placing my order, but Murphy's Law would have it that my order had a snafu. According to the shipping label, it was drop shipped directly from Sauder, and someone in the warehouse must have fallen asleep and pulled a TV Cart instead of a Sewing Cart. REALLY? (You only worked at one place! ) I don't blame Amazon, and I didn't realize the mistake until after I'd already taken EVERY. DARN. PIECE. fresh from the box Within an hour of delivery, I called Amazon, and they immediately placed a replacement order at no charge, as well as arranging for UPS to pick up the return the following day. I finally received the correct item about 5 days later. br>br>Sauder did an excellent job of packing this item. It came shrink-wrapped to avoid damage in the event that the outer box was damaged during shipping, which it was. Lol! There were, however, no missing parts or components - yay! Sauder gets an extra gold star for including a website link in the instruction manual that allows you to watch a VIDEO of the assembly process. I mean, how cool is that? The instructions were easy to understand and follow because they were clear, concise, and to the point. I've bought and assembled wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy more "faux furniture" than I care I'm a very practical person, so what truly sold me on this cart (aside from the price - it exceeded my expectations for the cost) was that it exceeded my expectations for the cost. HELLO! The utility is denoted by )). The LAST thing I needed was another pretty table that didn't serve any purpose. On the left side, there is an extra leaf that can be lifted to extend your workspace by 16 inches - SWEET! Before purchasing, I insisted on reading the Amazon reviews and took note of the suggestion from others to keep the leaf extended and simply add some storage units underneath it to support it - GENIUS! On the cart, there are two storage compartments: one with two shelves on the right side (where I kept my sewing machine), and another behind the front door (where I kept my embroidery machine). Small supplies can also be stored in two removable bins that hang on the inside of the front door. The cart also has wheels to make it easier to move around. What more could you want for $160 bucks? If you have three stacks of money to spend on a nice sewing table, go for it. I, on the other hand, despise you. I'm joking, of course - lol! However, I strongly advise you to purchase THIS table instead - and splurge on fabric and margaritas with the rest of your hard-earned cash! Good luck with your sewing!.

Thanks! It offends me greatly

I'll change my rating and review based on the level of customer service I receive tomorrow. br>br>I was ecstatic to get this up and running - I looked for a table for weeks and couldn't find it. I took it apart, laid the pieces out, and discovered that the top was cracked more than halfway through. I was furious, but I rationalized that I could live with a crack because I wasn't going to play the drums on it or anything. Let's see what we can come up with. So I take the CamLocks out of the bag and open it. This required a total of 14, which I received with a score of 13 out of a possible The 14th had a major flaw in it - It's as if there wasn't enough metal to fill the mold. So now I'm stuck with a 75-pound sewing table that I can't even assemble. br>So, where do we go from here? Is it possible to repackage it and send it back? Who is going to help me with that? It's a colossal amount of weight. EDIT: They sent me a new top and told me to keep the one that was cracked. They also included two extra cam locks in the package. Everything is provided at no cost. It wasn't difficult to put it all together on my own, but it took a long time. Anyway, I'm satisfied with my current situation. As a result, I'm upgrading my one-star rating to a four-star rating.

This is an outstanding piece of furniture
5/5

This is a fantastic craft table! It's ideal for cramped living quarters. It's made of nice materials and feels very sturdy yet easy to move around with the wheels; I have a corner of a room and this is perfect; it's made of nice materials and feels very sturdy yet easy to move around with the wheels. It's a fantastic product, especially for the price, and it's incredibly simple to put together with very clear instructions. With sorting the hardware and a toddler at home, it took me an hour and a half to put it together. It also has a storage space for my sewing machine, which I really like. This is unquestionably a good purchase.
