As none of the instructions matched the pieces, it took some trial and error to put it together. I was able to put it together without any problems (though it took a little while). The holes in some pieces are different from the ones shown in the image, for instance. Please see the following picture of an example (though it may be difficult to see-- In the instructions, piece 4 is supposed to have four holes, but it has six holes). The situation was worsened by the lack of labels on some parts. There were several small scratches (not worth returning) and the dowel hole for resting the flap was way too thin and wide for it to rest on. Unless I trim the dowel, the table will not be level. Since the hole for one knob was not drilled correctly, I had to carve out the hole to get the screw to match up with the Moreover, since the fold up portion is not supported at the corner, I wouldn't trust it to hold a lot of weight. I think it would be suitable for fabric. Having said all of that, let me just say this It is relatively inexpensive and serves the purposes it was intended for. It's not about heirlooms, it's about value.

The package came in two pieces. I was well, and the other was not There were a lot of things packed in A sealed package. One wasn't, and the other wasn't, & Without wrapping the pieces of the puzzle, they appeared to have just been tossed together. To assemble this, you need at least two people. Despite its sturdy nature, it is not as durable as I would like it to be. If the back is facing a wall, make sure you place it against that There was a shame that just a few more sturdy pieces weren't used, as that would have made a dramatic difference in durability and I would not recommend using this fabric with a heavy sewing machine. If ALL pieces had been labeled with numbers, the instructions would be much easier to follow. In the event of screws & bolts To be exact, I counted the hardware and found screws that had stripped heads and bent threads The threading on the knob has been stripped. The parts are so cheap that it would be easy for the maker to add an extra knob. There should be a few extra screws to keep the problem of having to do makeshift jobs from occurring. I'm not entirely sure that this is a good value for such a piece of craft furniture, though it's reasonably inexpensive. You can lock it in one place if it's in one place and it's unmoving You should be able to use it as long as it is not shaken around by the sewing machine.

We found building the sewing table to be a bit challenging, directions could have been a bit more detailed, and the diagrams could have been a bit more precise in several areas the wording would have made a tremendous difference. It was lucky for me that I've put together some pieces of furniture before, so I missed only a few fixable errors, but it's a warning for someone assembling furniture for the first time.

In assembly, there were many nightmarish moments. For this item, make sure there are at least three people there to help you assemble it. Instructions are illustrated only, no written instructions are included. When assembled, the piece looks good, but it is not real sturdy. I guess it is value for the price. It wouldn't be recommended.

The price is well worth it. There is plenty of room and it is very sturdy. Sewing is my passion and I do it almost all the time.

However, I would have liked to have had at least one drawer, as well as a few spikes for spools, but all in all I am satisfied with the product. My name is Linda and I am 67 years old. I built it myself, so please Assembling was made easier by arranging all of my supplies in the order they should be put together, but it does take some time, so patience is definitely needed.

My first impression was to think it had so much storage, but it was missing parts. As soon as it is hit or touched, the stand will fall and the table will fall. Though I do not know how long it will last, it looks quite nice.
