My daughter is studying at college so the basket is not here. It was about 11" X 8" by 6" high, but I don't remember the height. My memory is as accurate as possible. Keep my word, but don't count on me.
Unfortunately, I do not recall what was stated on the packaging label. A very nice basket for beginners!
I would let it cool completely before using a smaller iron (not sure if this is what you mean by a "hot iron", but wanted to be sure.
China is the country of origin of this SINGER sewing basket.

The inside dimensions are as follows Size 9"L x 6"W x 4"H (very small inside area)*Not as bright pink as it appears on This pink jacket comes faded and worn out. My black ribbing was coming off and I hot glued it back in place (see picture).
Inside there is a lot of "bonus" stuff that is almost worthless, such as cheap pencils and paper clips. This stuff is impossible to find anywhere else. The thread that comes with the kit is rotten and can easily be broken with your hands. The scissors are dull. This is a plastic thimble, not metal as they advertise. I bought this as a gift for someone who is beginning to sew. As I looked inside, I was a bit embarrassed when I saw the cheap construction. It is kind of tricky to put the known name "Singer" on a label. It's hard to imagine a store would sell this product if to see it in a store.
I'm not sure the Singer company backs this product. This is not a purchase I would recommend.
In reading some negative reviews of this basket, I felt it was unsatisfactory. The one I had was perfect. The color of the basket was not faded, it was bright and vibrant! The only thing I need to do is hem or repair a stitch, and I'm good to go. In the heavy duty tray, I placed 42 regular-size spools of thread and they all fit! The spools are normal-size, big spools. sewing basket would be ideal for any sewing enthusiast. You can buy smaller sizes if you don't like tiny pins. I replaced sissors for smaller ones. I am so happy with my new sewing kit that you can make it what you want it to be. You will do a lot if you do a lot. There's a possibility that a larger basket would be needed if you do a lot of sewing. It's not worth it to not purchase because some comments are against the contents of your cart. Don't forget to add some things you like to make it exactly what you want it to be. It's an under tray, so you'll have lots of room.
There is a poor quality to the product. This sewing basket is made in such an ineffective manner that I am totally disappointed. One was bought for my daughter, and I thought hers was quite well-made. In the picture, you can see that this one is warped and a good 1/4" higher on the left side. I am not satisfied with how the trim is In the end, I am only keeping it because I have already unpacked it and started filling it with my own things. Returning it with a repackaging effort is not worth the effort. However, it is of such poor quality that I am disappointed.
There are a few more items in the box than I A little bit of sewing supplies that I have around the house fit in the bag. A few things have caught my eye when I have inspected inside. In the first instance, the bag and some of the items look like they were taken from a deep storage full of Having the lines on the shelf caused me to give it four stars, as it looked like it had been through a lot. I found it useful for the primary purpose I had for using it.
As well as sewing implements such as fabric scissors and a needle/pin cushion, it came with a piece of fabric. It is useful to keep frequently used implements close at hand on the upper organizational trays. On the lower trays, I have an extra floss winder and full size scissors, as well as two floss management trays. In addition to the pretty color, the sewing pattern on the outside of the cover is also pretty. Weight is a key factor in making it easy to move around, and the handle adds to its convenience. I have owned many sewing boxes over the years, but this is my favorite.
In the last year, I collected a lot of sewing stuff and got tired of keeping it all in tins and buckets around the house. I purchased the sewing kit to keep them all in one place. It was important to me that I could look at something and be able to identify that it was definitely for sewing supplies, not cookies, dear husband, so don't dig in here looking for cookies. In this kit, it's exactly what it's supposed to do. There are never enough fabric scissors, so the included items were a great bonus - I needed a new tomato for my needles, and you could never have quite enough little tomatoes.
I bought the box, but I replaced what's inside. The kit included thread, safety pins, needles and a pin cushion, which I found to be a useful addition. My excitement was enhanced by the fact that Singer was such a well-known brand. While I was quite pleased with the sewing box itself, I was saddened by what was included inside. The thread came on very small spools that were not suitable for travel kits. The safety pins were small and poorly constructed. There was no pin cushion included because it was as hard as a rock, and you couldn't even drive a pin through it. As a matter of fact, I threw out the included kit since I thought it was cheaply made and I could not bring myself to include it in the It was such a pleasure to open the sewing kit for my friend. You should not rely on the items included in the box to complete your gift, but purchase a sewing box for the box. I find them.
I am very satisfied with the results. An old, very, very large sewing basket that I bought in 1986 is in my stash. Both the handle and plastic tray of the tray were damaged. My new one is finally here, so I decided I deserved it. There was only one large one available at a cost that was beyond my budget. This Singer basket appealed to me because it was both reasonably priced and of the right size. When I looked at the bottom part of the old one, it was like looking into a time capsule. The parts I had for a machine I bought in 1968 and replaced in 1981 were still with me. In any case, the new basket is fine. It will only hold essentials, and it is not too heavy, and it's reasonably well crafted. If you've been sewing for a long time, the notions that come with the kit are not worth anything. As I'm sure you know 100 times better than this, I cannot understand. They were tossed to the side. surprisingly, the tray of the new basket is much more durable than that of the old one. This is a very good product. I would buy it again and recommend it.
