Questions & Answers

Does this paper have enough acid in it to be safe to use for archival photos?

That's not the case! As soon as I received this product I contacted Scotch because the packaging failed to mention that this is an acid-free product No charge. Scotland has confirmed that their products are not acidic This image is free and may not be used as a picture.

Is it possible to remove them? Mounting student art and removing it later are things I need to do. ?

What do you mean by MOUNT? Do you mean mount it It would be impossible for them to do so. It is a package of 2 sided sticky squares which can be peeled off once, placed on a paper, but if left on for too long, they are very difficult They are often used in scrap booking for small photographs placed on paper that never needs to be

Is it possible to attach photos, not frames, but actual photos, to walls with these kits?

may be able to, but you would likely remove the paint as well when you remove them from the wall. Designed for light weight materials, this adhesive has a double sided surface.

These are great for sticking photos to glass. Can I use them that way?

A vague question like this is hard to answer. Pictures have been placed on walls without causing damage and they have stuck just fine.

You can't go wrong with these scrapbooking squares! Scrapbooking is my main hobby, and I only use these adhesive squares
5/5

Getting 1,000 squares for the price is fantastic -- they last a long time and are very well bonded to the paper. No photo has ever come loose from the page and fallen off. There is only one thing about them that can be annoying, and that is removing the little blue backing that comes on each one when you take them off the roll, but I just keep a mini trashcan next to me to throw the backing in. These are the perfect adhesive squares if you are looking for high quality at a great price.

The adhesive and value of this product are excellent Once you get the hang of it, this program is very easy to use
5/5

I've used other photo splitting programs before but this is by far the best. These splits have fantastic adhesion, just be careful to position the photo exactly where you want it because they cling well and quickly. It was an excellent price. I will definitely use it again. It is more likely that you will purchase When you get rid of the box and roll them out using your hands, they are easy to use. Here are some pictures (excuse the lack of manicure) in hopes they will clarify the directions. The roll is always placed in a ziplock bag, not a box, so I never use the box for dispensing. A small piece of splits is ripped off the roll, and then, with my left hand fingers, I roll the white backing off a few splits and place the sticky side of each split on each finger tip of my right hand. Once I have removed each blue tab one at a time, I pile them up in a trash bin, and then I stick the photo split exactly where I wish it to appear. It sounds time consuming at first, but once you get the hang of it, you're able to move quickly, barely noticing the process as you go. I simply pull off the blue tabs then press the exposed splits on to the back of my photo if, let's say, three or four splits get stuck on the white backing To peel the backing away, I carefully lift it up and peel it off. This might be of use to you.

Almost too good to be true
5/5

I love the convenience of these squares for scrapbooking, but it does take some time and patience to separate the tiny pieces of adhesive from the wax paper. Normally, the box contains instructions on how to dispens them easily, but I have not been able to follow those instructions. Especially good are that they are double-sided so you'll get a flat, vertical record when placing photos on the sheet, so there will be no bulging, no messy glue, and the photos will stick immediately.

School posters will look great on these The glue is made of cellulose and replaces liquid or stick glue! The posters are used by my kids for their school projects
4/5

These squares on waxy paper backing are great, however they can be tricky to peel off, but they are such a professional look that it is worth it. We do not want our students' work to have weird bumpy glue marks coming through. We do not want the papers to fall off because glue stick glue is too weak. Our guidelines say we need at least one square per corner, plus one or two squares in the center back of a smaller 4x6 paper size. We use two squares at each end, plus one square in the middle, for thinner rectangle title papers. When you work with really tiny pieces of paper, you can cut the square into two pieces. This is an extremely convenient way to attach paper to the board and you do not need to wait for it to dry.

These squares are great for mounting
5/5

Using these mounting squares is a great way to either adhere photos or memorabilia to the page. For mounting photos for kids school projects, scrap-booking, using for posting art, and so on, we have used these a lot. They hold up well and I have found that to keep photos in place, it takes about 4 coats to make the photos hold. The squares are 6 by 6. (Depending on the size of the photo, I use one in each corner, as well as one in the center). The adhesives are not removable and have a good strong hold after they are applied. After using the frames for a short time, the photo might pop off, but it will eventually stay in place. As a result, one box lasts us a long time and since they have multiple uses, they're a great value for us.

Intuitive to use but difficult to navigate
3/5

EK Success adhesive squares have been my go-to for years, but they have recently become harder to find, so I decided to try these. It is impossible to pull the squares off the paper with no scissors and you cannot tear them without cutting them. In terms of placement of the pictures, etc, you better be very happy with where you choose them because trying to reposition them can be a real headache The paper or whatever it was placed on could easily be ripped if they were to be positioned again. The experience was awful and it didn't seem worth the effort to save a few bucks.

I found them to be very useful once I learned how to use them
5/5

Organizing my photos has taken a lot of time. I thought they were fantastic. As I finished my collection, I bought more and will buy more as I finish my albums. It took me a bit to figure out how to use them easily, but once I did, I made huge progress with my picture albums. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

This is amazing! In the past, I bought the German squares that had a dispenser however, they are expensive and bulky
5/5

Whenever I have used this 3M product, it has been extremely easy to use, and as long as you do it right, the "square" comes out nicely, you don't have Postings in this category are the most common complaints. That was not the way to do it! There is only one thing wrong with me Adding it to your site is optional. Free shipping was only available to those who purchased over $25 worth of items. Instead of buying things I needed, I bought things I didn't.
