These are the earrings I made out of polymer clay. I wish I had looked up the dimensions on each square because they are all on one sheet, so I had to cut them apart. This made it difficult to get a full pattern on the clay because I had to constantly pick up and align the stamp with where the previous part ended.
Sculpey is one of my favorite materials. Except for the hearts, I have all of the cutters, as well as the majority of their texture sheets and silk screens. My only gripe, and it was most likely my fault, is the clay's insistence on sticking to one design. I used no-name poly clay when I first started playing with it. It could have been a little stickier, but with an old toothbrush and warm water, I was able to remove it. It made some really cool designs on my clay, so I'd recommend it.
Backgrounds for polymer clay projects can be created with these sheets. However, if you don't use a mist of water or a light dusting of corn starch, the clay may stick. I don't need the large sheet of "stone" texture, and I wish the lace or leaf texture came in a large sheet rather than small squares. This item is something I would recommend.
It's a pain to deal with these! Clay gets stuck in small crevices and is difficult to remove. Silicone baking texture sheets have been much more successful for me.
I'm not sure about the larger one, but I'm sure I'll find a use for it; after all, I'm a very creative person. The price was extremely high.
While I have a few favorite sculpey texture sheets, this isn't one of them. The design is enormous, far too large to be worn as earrings.
The designs are appealing to me. Lace block may seem out of place in a nature-themed project, but I use it frequently to texture the backs of my polymer pendants.
That's a problem with me, lol. Overall, a fantastic product for the money.
