To leave an impression, any texture can be used. I doubt the impression will be visible from the ground. For a celing application, it's usually deeper. br>Wishing you a pleasant day!

Is it possible to stamp on leather with a Lisa Pavelka stamp?

Hello from Art Clay World in the United States, and thank you for your inquiry about Lisa Pavelka stamps! Stamping on paper, polymer clay, ceramic clay, and metal clay are just a few of the ways that flat rubber stamps are used by artists. This stamp would be an excellent choice for leather. You'd need to spread whatever paint (suitable for leather) onto the stamp with a brayer, then roll across the back of the stamp onto the leather with the brayer. It's best if your leather item is as flat as possible. You won't get a crisp image like you would with ceramic, polymer, or metal clay, but you will get something. This is fantastic; just make sure you cut the stamp all the way around the paisley and leave no white space around the edge. It leaves a lasting impression. Stamp as much as you want.
