Questions & Answers
No, I don't believe it would affect the mold's integrity. However, you could make a hard caste out of scupley polymer clay and use it, or you could try embossing with an embossing folder. I've tried it with aluminum tape and it works perfectly.
On the mat, each strip is one centimeter or 0. There are six of them, each measuring 39 inches.
Rubber is used to make this.
Lisa Pavelka's "Love Letter" stamp has a section like this. It's a love letter that's made up. You can stamp on paper with ink or into clay to find out exactly what the stamp's strip says.

Lisa Pavelka's border/texture molds are the second set I've bought from her. They are my favorite. I like that they're flexible but made of a sturdy material that should last a long time; I've used all six patterns in various projects and found it simple to pick one of the six, texture it, cut the clay piecet, and add additional sections as needed. The texturing is clear and distinct. The patterns are fun to mix and match, and they can even be incorporated into other designs. Because I enjoy texturing and do so frequently, this saves me a lot of time. Because it's flexible, it's simple to use a brayer to apply the patterns to a rounded or square shape. Overall, a huge help in my polymer clay projects! It could also be used to ink designs. When I use gilder's paste colors on a completed piece, the texturing becomes even more dramatic.
These are tinier than a speck of dust. That was my fault for not paying closer attention to the measurements. br>I purchased these to use as texture/patterns on pottery clay in ceramics. Because stoneware shrinks during firing, the texture of these teeny tiny stamps will be almost unrecognizable. After they've been fired, you'll be able to see them. I'm not a baker, but these tiny little stamps might be useful for mini cupcakes or something. I'm not sure what kind of tiny baked goods would benefit from something so tiny lolbr>Oh well, next time I'll pay more attention to the measurements!.
These were purchased to be used in the creation of polymer clay tiles to be used to decorate other items, such as the top of a plain jewelry box. They leave a lovely, clean impression in the clay, and the designs are fantastic. I expect them to last a long time because they are made of high-quality stamping material.
I wasn't sure if I needed to cut them apart because the patterns are so small, and there were no instructions with them. As is, it is difficult to use.
Good quality and a great product.
I'm wondering if I should cut this mat apart so I can use it on my clay projects more easily.
I made the correct decision.
I use these to sculpt apoxie that I turn into rings, and it gives them the perfect design.
