Together, they make a stunning combination The colors are stunning and it is a breeze to work with. Using water as a special effect is magical because of the way they react with it. As a result, they blend more easily than the It is appropriate to use each type in its place - These products are best for softening, and originals are best for wetting and creating watercolors- Backgrounds are nice to look at. It is a little pricey but the oxides ink is great.
Back in the day, I made a lot of cards and stamped a lot. I have jumped back into things, and now I see how things have evolved Ink pads made of distressed oxide are nice. Prior to the invention of pigment ink, dye inks and pigment inks didn't work very well Things have changed since then! In that they are far more opaque than traditional dye pads, these Distress Oxide inks have the texture of pigment. The dark cardstock can therefore be used to stamp with them. In my opinion, the colors themselves are more like dye inks, and the drying time is significantly reduced as compared to pigment ink pads. When you spray the product with water, you see magic happen. After you color your cardstock with ink and spritz it lightly with water, you get lighter spots where the ink and water have mixed. Then I also discovered that spritzing the paper lightly with water before inking it makes it darker because the water drops pull in the ink and make it soak in I like that! (In either case, make sure not to soak your paper so you do not end up with a mess of paper that dissolves. )
I have had a great time with these ink pads. They arrived nice and juicy and no matter whether I stamp more traditionally or use them as a background, they work well. A lot more colors to come!.
Since this is the first time I have purchased and used Distress Oxide inks, I am not sure how "inky" they should Inks that are great to blend were my main motivation for buying them and I was very excited after learning about it. My brush or sponge did not seem to be getting much ink off of any of the ink pads in the group, so it appears that 12 of them are dried out. I am disappointed because this problem was not resolved, but I wanted the best for my team It is at your own risk to purchase. *** I will revise my rating and review if my circumstances change.
It's not the Oxide inks that are defective, it's the fact that when they were received, they were dry. A company representative has yet to contact me. Let me know when the issue has been resolved so I can let you know the outcome. I edited the rating from 4 stars to 5 stars on February 19, 2019. The company replaced the A new set of inks is fantastic! I was very happy with my interaction with the.
My experience with them is not that great in the time I have used it. As far as I'm concerned, the colors are not vivid, but more pastel. As a result, they are of little use to me, but I might be able to get something out of them. I hope so! It would have been easier to stick with acrylic paint since it is much more vibrant had I known. Perhaps if I had the means to purchase some good rubber stamps, things might.
If you haven't used Tim Holtz Distress oxide inks, you are missing out on a great opaque ink! The cover is amazing and the reaction with the water is amazing! This is such a cool ink! You might want to keep this in mind next time you need some ink! They will be as much a hit with you as they are with me! A picture will be posted soon!.
Oxide Inks have totally sealed the deal for me! Printing is crisp and clear with these inks. The only reason I ink the stamp twice with a Mysti is to give me a I like the way the project turned out for the ink drying slowly but the finish is exactly what I want.
Although I love these oxide inks, there is a problem with one of the containers I received. I could not take out the top of the container because it was stuck in the groove of the bottom. I was finally able to get it off, but it broke part of the top container, meaning that the top is now open and the bottom is closed. As I've said, this is the second Distress Oxide I've received in which this has happened. Due to the fact that the rest of the colors are okay, I don't want to return the item to Amazon.
