Questions & Answers
These ceramic coasters are probably from a Cricut machine.
One time I used HTV and it worked fine, but the infusible ink looks much better.
In order for the ink to work, the surface needs to have been coated with polyester. It took me a long time to learn this lesson. My success with sublimation coasters suggests that it might work for you as well.

Custom coasters are a great way to show off your personality. Although the blanks don't absorb water, they don't stand against it. Whenever the glass 'sweats', it will need to be mopped up with a damp cloth. This type of gift is simple to make, fun to use, and great as a gift. When it comes to large magnets, I prefer the square ones.
As it did not include any of those sticky no scratch things for the bottom, I'm definitely going to buy some since these could definitely scratch up wood and glass, and scooting them across glass would sound like nails on a chalkboard. It doesn't really matter to me that they're supposed to be diy, since they're intended for every day use. Until I use my infusible ink sheets or pens, I expect that they will work fine since I bought them from Cricut where the infusible ink is The ones I received were of a decent medium size, and they were sent free the same day. This place is obviously clean and brand They look great and I can't wait to try them out. On one side, there is a glossy finish and on the other, there is an unfinished one.
It is nice to have blank coasters like these. It is possible that thinner, similarly thick, quality coaster blanks are out there, but I have no idea where they are located. Apart from the hefty price tag, these are good quality, sturdy, and they sublimate well using all types of ink. Research might show that there is a comparable product available at a competitive price elsewhere, so it wouldn't hurt to inquire.
Thanks to Infusible Ink Pens from Cricut, I can create any design that I want. The black one was used for the Cricut to draw the outline, and then I colored it in with a pen. turned out to be a bright and beautiful image. You just need to turn the heat press on the Cricut for about 80 seconds and heat up the material to 400 degrees. The tape is heat proof and I used it to hold it down. It was good I did, because one of them turned out a bit light, and I had to add more heat to it. There is no indication as to how it merges with the shiny top, although they seem to be holding together.
I am so disappointed in these thin and flimsy items. The disappointment is huge. The erroneous image was cut with no problem with the Cricut from infusible ink paper. I would not recommend buying this product again, especially given the price. The product was very vibrant and beautiful, but was too thin to recommend buying it again.
There is only one thing I am not sure about with them their backs do not have cork or anything like that. It would need to be added to your plan if that's what you want.
The coasters were broken on two occasions. The broken ones I threw away because I injured my back, so I couldn't use them. Damaged goods were not appealing to me, especially when the whole process of returning them was so complicated. The item arrived damaged, so I would have given a higher rating if it wasn't for this. I am quite happy that all of the items that didn't get damaged worked out fine.
