Fine tweezers for the extremely slender, delicate pieces are included in this kit, which are not included in the basic set. a piercing tool that is used to pierce pieces to be lifted and a hook weeder, which comes in handy when working with more difficult vinyl materials like glitter vinyl. If you're only going to use basic vinyl, the basic set should suffice.
They're made of metal.
To the best of my knowledge, it is an authentic item. Everything is in excellent condition.

While doing some research for a craft project, I came across this set. For any crafter, this is a must-have item. I use this set for weeding vinyl and have used the various tools for a variety of household tasks. Initially, I tried using a quilting needle, but my hand would lock up, causing pain. Because the grip is thicker, it is more comfortable to use for larger weeding projects. They're tough and razor-sharp at the same time. The only thing I regret is that I didn't find them sooner!.
These appear to be genuine OEM (Cricut), which is difficult to come by among all the cheap knockoffs, but it's there. It's a good selection, though I wish there was a scraper included. (I had to go out and buy one. ) ) I think the colors on the handles are a nice finishing touch. My only criticism is that if you drop these from a great height, the fine points are easily bent. (Can you tell me where I should put my things? Fortunately, some pliers can be used to bend the points back into a straight line. Aside from that, the tools have performed admirably. These have exceeded my expectations. Overall, these appear to work great so far and are exactly what I needed. These tools have exceeded my expectations.
Oh, my goodness, I'm in love with this. I use it for weeding paper as well as vinyl (because it makes weeding so much easier). Also, some of the tools can be used to assist in the placement of items on my page. I am very pleased with my purchase.
This tool is ideal for weeding vinyl from Cricut machine items. I would strongly advise spending the extra money on this kit rather than the cheap knockoffs that do not work. My daughter used this one and was able to weed her very intricate shirt in just ten minutes. It also had some very small cuts that the off-brand brands would have been unable to weed out. The few extra dollars are well worth it!.
The majority of the time is excellent. The angled tweezer is a waste of time. They don't work because the tips don't line up. All of the other tools, on the other hand, are excellent, and I don't think I'll miss the one.
There is a lot of room for comfort. They wear out quickly, and the tweezers are crooked, so they don't pick up fine pieces like I need. I believe they are overpriced and unsuitable for someone who uses them frequently because they will need to be replaced frequently.
These weeding tools are great, though the little see-through cap that protects the pointy/sharp ends isn't my favorite feature. When I drop them, I ALWAYS can't see them! I'd like them to be bright pink. It would take a lot of the sting out of my clumsiness. lol. br>br>The tools perform admirably on my vinyl and cardstock projects, and they are comfortable to hold; I highly recommend them.
