It's suitable for older children, but you'll have to dig the hole yourself

These were purchased for our eldest son to use in his projects. They have a nice color scheme and a good mix of colors. They are not sharp and bend easily, which is both a good and a bad thing. The good news is that they are unlikely to cut you, and they are simple enough for an elementary school child to use. The bad news is that they can't get past three pages of regular typing paper. They're great if you're willing to make all of the holes differently. We had to pay for these ourselves (which isn't a big deal because we tell it like it is). I'm confident that once this box of them runs out, we'll go out and buy more. They would be 5 strars if they were slightly thicker and had a less rounded tip.
