This album can hold about 50 pages, but they are not included in the package.
If you're talking about the spine, "on the end" is a good place to start. There is no metal placket on this shirt. I can't find any other metal plackets. However, the album has a sophisticated appearance and appears to be long-lasting.
a distance of 4 1/4" - a three-ring binder with standard spacing
I'm not sure what you're looking for, but here's something to think about: When the album is closed, it measures 2 3/4" across the binding.

These photo books appeal to me greatly. So far, I've purchased four of them. I'd been buying a different brand of "extra capacity" book for the past 15 years or so. These are much more durable and can hold a lot more photos. I'm moving all of those photos into these, despite the fact that I paid a ridiculous price for the others. I've never been too concerned with the appearance of a book; these are plain black and inexpensive.
I prefer my strap hinge scrapbooks, but these are a close second; they're quite large, and I find them difficult to store (due to their size), but they're well made. I bought another brand of three-ring scrapbook binders at a local craft store and despised them because the rings wouldn't line up properly, causing my pages to stick or fall off the ring entirely. This particular ringed scrapbook has not had any of these issues. This is a product I would buy again in a heartbeat.
They're all of excellent quality and should last a long time. Photo 12-: Everything You Need to Know About the Pioneer It takes a special kind of artist to put out 12 albums. These are a perfect match for the archival quality 8 cd/dvd storage pages that I used. Each album has a maximum capacity of 18 pages. Without becoming unwieldy to hold, 20 pages (8 DVDs each) can be filled without becoming unwieldy to hold.
I'm a digital scrapbooker who uses 12x12 paper for my layouts. Because I would be filling it up, I needed a sturdy album. This is something I'm glad I purchased. I purchased this two years ago, and it is still in excellent condition and appears to be brand new. We can flip through the album without worrying about pages falling out (as in a post-bound album). For my 2013 album, I'm likely to order another.
This binder is one of my favorites. I prefer it to postbound scrapbooks, particularly for the 20-year photo project I've decided to undertake. It's incredibly simple to switch pages. Just because you want to "add" a page, you don't have to take your embellished scrapbook page in and out of the plastic covers. I wish I'd known about these before I started using the Recollections Gatefold scrapbooks (which, while beautiful, only hold 15-inch squares). 20 pages), not to mention the fact that they are no longer available. I can easily fit 35(70) pages into these binders, and they lay flat. The binder is well-made as well, and the stitching adds a nice touch.
It has a very appealing appearance. The pages I needed to put in it, however, were too large. To fit the three rings inside the mounting holes in the page, I had to cut them out, but it worked out fine. If I buy another one, I'll have to look for the pages that were supposed to go in it.
