Does it appear that the colors are These images must be used over a drawing, in search of colors that have a very translucent appearance. Thanks for your kind words! ?

Yes, I agree. The reason I love them is because of that. Using them in my planner is a mild way of highlighting. This is a very muted and light tone.

I thought the results would be better
5/5

My original plan was to just get the le plume at HL or Michael's with a coupon to save half off, but I've had no luck with those either. Nonetheless, I'm so glad I finally got these pen, they're so much better than other brush pens which fray almost as soon as they are used. The tip makes it easy to make a thin line as well as a thick line. In other brush pens, you are only able to make thick or medium lines once the pen wears out.

They are wonderful for journaling & illustration, and as long as they aren't dried out, they will keep working
4/5

It's been more than 15 years since I first used brush pens from Tombow. Among my favorites are the pastel brushes because of how well they handle and how nice the color selection is. These pens come in a wide range of colors and I use them in my bullet journals and to add color to my illustrated journals. It is only because the light yellow pen in this set was dry when it arrived that I am deducting one star from the set. It happened to me as well with a set of Twintone Markers that I purchased at the same time. I have never seen an entire set of Pens arrive like this from this company, let alone one pen in two different sets. My initial reaction was a bit shock. I hope this was an isolated incident and not an indication that quality control has slipped at the company. Tombow Pens will be on my shopping list for the foreseeable future, but I hope my next order will be without trouble.

During writing, one pen dried up
3/5

The colors are lovely. Despite this, the package did come broken or open after being shipped, but this wasn't a major I, however, cannot use my dark pink (723) markers brush tip because it has dried out and no longer works. There is also a VERY close match between the two purple shades (553 and 620). I'm disappointed with these issues given that I've heard so many positive things about them and that they're considered a higher end and quality brand. I'll probably return.

I would not recommend this to a beginner
3/5

While these are nice pens, they resemble highlighters more than pens because of their colors. There are large tips on these pens that make it difficult to write in small This is not the type of paper that works well for my planner. It can take a little while to get used to the pens because they fray easily. My only complaint is the size of the brush end on the other side, although it would have been nice to have it a little smaller and stronger. Paper isn't going to be the best thing ever for the majority of people. Many of us have real lives and are interested in learning This would be recommended if you're more experienced and you're looking for colors that aren't too loud and look good as background colors.

I will buy more in the future! I love these so much! My review is strictly based on their calligraphy - I cannot speak for their other products
5/5

I have not tested them that manner in this review, so do not consider it to be an illustration. It was my goal to find pastel brush markers online, I watched tons of reviews, and ultimately I was completely satisfied Although they are a bit thicker on the downstroke (if you have heavy hands like me), I find that I like the overall aesthetic of it and believe that with practice I will eventually achieve a thinner downstroke. However, you can see faint strokes of these brushes on the back of the paper even though they did not bleed through the journal I used (Leuchtturm 1917). A heavier piece of paper can easily be used to fix this. Calligraphy is my first art form, and I recommend these people to anyone beginning this art form. In my opinion, it's definitely worth the extra few cents to have the tip at the end.

Pastel markers in the real deal
4/5

There are few pastel markers available on the market today. Tombow's is one of them. In the past, I have purchased dozens of set of markers which showed pastels for ink in the mix, only to be disappointed when the ink proved to be too intense for This is a dual tip marker with a brush tip. On one end, it has a long, fiber-like tip and on the other, a smaller, fiber-like tip. It is made of brushes- A tip like this allows you to cover large areas quickly as well as do accurate details. A small fiber tip produces a fine line, but it is more difficult to align the point of the tip with the area to be colored as opposed to a fineline marker. It is made up of true pastels and features pale lemon yellow, pale golden yellow, pale spring green, pale turquoise, pale blue, pale lilac, pale lilac, and pale Moreover, the software includes a blending tool which allows you to blend Water-based inks have no odor, and they are based on water. It is easy to blend them on marker paper and they do not streak. Below are some tips to help you Like the blender brush, the blender brush is also clean. Using this set of markers in coloring books is my favorite thing to do. Most coloring book papers should work with them, but you should always use a blotter sheet underneath the page you are coloring. If your coloring book comes with double-sided paper, please check all the colors to be sure they don't bleed Both sides of a page. As to the journal items, I think they would also be good if your journal does not require any pictures There is bleeding When you color journal pages, you either do so through paper or color only one side. I like both tips for working in journals because they are both the perfect size. **
***Cause the fine tip is less reliable than regular fineliners in terms of the width of the stroke and the lay down, I would give this set 5 stars if the set came with a different fine tip. While I've seen coloring books that fill pages with fine detail, I doubt these markers could do a job on them. I'm accustomed to coloring with larger tips that are okay for practically anything, but I cannot imagine these markers would be effective for such a task. I have a few nits to mention, but other than that, Despite it's deficiencies, I think that Tombow has produced a good product that will be useful to everyone who likes to color in coloring books, in their journals, or who creates artwork that will be protected by anti-fingerprinting Glass protection from ultraviolet light.

The calligraphy itself is amazing without knowing a thing about it
5/5

My bullet journal is made with these markers. As for bleeding, they don't seem to bleed unless you go over the same spot multiple times (and if they didn't, what marker wouldn't? As I did not know how to do calligraphy, I am not interested in using my business cards for that purpose. The exception is that I do write in cursive with either a fine-tipped black pigma micron or a pastel pen and just put a few stripes across the word (or words) so it is wide enough and then I put a pastel backer on it.

I am just blown away by these brush markers
5/5

Even though markers aren't just your average markers, some may think that they are very expensive. Due to the fact that they are dual brush pens, the price is higher than usual. However, the underlying reason is due to the fact that there are 12 colors and they are all very good. It overlaps very smoothly and it does not show any streaks. The brushes I use are good for brush calligraphy, and I am a beginner, and I found grabbing the brush very easy. Tips for writing an effective business letter It is less pressure when you do upstrokes, and lots of pressure when you do downstrokes.
