This is in response to those who claim that these markers bleed and are not good quality because of this. The markers will bleed if you use them on thin sheets of paper, it's just how it is. Brushes for water color can be used with water color paper, mixed media paper, etc. Of course, anything that is thicker than plain loose leaf/notebook paper or printer paper will do. My personal opinion is that these markers perform better when used with more water than pigment so that the colors can be toned down IMMENSELY and added more as they dry. Since I'm also a student of art, I believe that working in layers is the best way to go about your work *Edit- I finally got mine, and I love them so much. They take a while to get used to, but they're so nice and so light, and I'm working extremely small so my work could benefit from improvement, but I'm so glad I finally got them.

Using both with and without water is what I do. As you can see, the Link drawing was made without water as you can only tell by the dark and light horizontal lines on his shirt due to the overlapping of the same color ONCE and not multiple.

It took me a long time to get used to the use of water colors, but now I feel like I need to draw all the time. With this product, I am very happy and I have never had a problem using it. I have never used another watercolor brush pen until now, nor have I ever used any watercolor paint previously, so I have no way of comparing these two. My feelings might be different if I were used to super high-end watercolors, but since I don't know what they're like I don't have any idea. Pens like these are my favorite. They can be used directly on old or new paper, on dry or wet paper, dipped in water to lighten them, or blended with the plain water brush they come It's a blast to play them. Because of watercolors, and such, I would recommend mixed media paper at the very least.

These are outstanding for the price. I was certainly not expecting them to be this good. Although I have never utilized brush pens before, I thought I'd give it a go.

It is good to have a brush tip like this because it makes blending colors much easier. There are no streaks or wet marks left on the floor thanks to the very vibrant colors. There is a very pointy tip with this pen, which makes it excellent for tasks ranging from calligraphy to graphic design.

This is amazing! Quite a bit better than expected. The pigmentation is not too vibrant, but not too dull either. I love how this blend blends! Overall, I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to try out color pencils. I haven't been satisfied with copics in the past, but this blends better and is less expensive. A few tips *Wet paper but not too much before coloring for a more water-colour effect (light brushing over the paper with a waterbrush or pen. ) * Use the right paper. It was only through hard experience that I discovered the importance of paper! My preference is to use heavier weight paper and actual watercolor paper instead of mix media paper.

Brush pens such as these are wonderful! A versatile pen that can make fine lines as well as broad ones. Gets into the smallest of spaces with ease. Water-soluble. It blends well Both with and without water can be used. The colors are vibrant and bright.
