It performs admirably.
I tried it in PVC and it worked perfectly, but I'm not sure it would work on metal (especially multiple times). I hope this information is useful.

) ) The simplest method is to make a template out of stiff cardstock and trace the hole and slots onto the paper to be punched. People with more talent might come up with a brilliant frame, but I'm not one of them. Make sure you're holding both this and the round hole punch on the punched-out side. Out bits emerge facing up, allowing you to see exactly where your trace marks are located. br>br>I paid just over $11 for this, which is a huge savings over the $299 they were charging for the cheapest ACME punch I could find!.
When replacing holes in vertical blind slats, this tool comes in handy.
I have searched online for a hole puncher that is capable of hitting up vertical blinds, and found one of them I read that mentioned it as one of those holes punchers that could open up the PVC and not allow the window to expand. The hole punch was extremely hard to get through.
I bought it to use on cruises to punch the room key that is given to you. Instead of a round hole, I have an ID badge holder that requires a slot. br>br>I tested it on an old cruise card and it cut a perfect rounded edge slot. br>br>It was a bit of a challenge to put it all together, but I got there in the end. The punch is well-made and of high quality. It should last a long time, so I'm glad I bought it.
This was exactly what I needed to fix my broken blinds segments. After the original slit on one side broke, I simply flipped them over and used this tool to punch a new slot in it. br>br>It's just a shame this tool doesn't have the ability to adjust the depth of its punch hole. It also feels a little flimsy, and it won't hold anything thicker than a regular ID card or a vertical blind.
If necessary, I would purchase the item(s) again, and if possible, from the same seller. If the item falls short of my expectations, I will revise my review.
After several years of exorbitantly priced cardstock badges, plastic- I had been using the Badgetec holder for a while. The nametag system is being phased out. They vanished after that. Without resorting to the use of an expensive plastic holder, I was able to repurpose cardstock badges for use with bulldog clip lanyards directly using this slot punch! Punching holes takes the same amount of time as inserting the badge into a holder. For many years to come, this will be a useful tool for events.
even for those with small hands This punch can punch through fairly thick material and does so cleanly; it's easy to hold and isn't too big for small hands (my teen daughter can use it without difficulty). This is an excellent choice if you need a punch for name badges.
