Questions & Answers
There is no water resistance to them.
The foam might hold if you heat it with a heat gun(a hair dryer might do the job) and then press it if it doesn't
Paper can be folded but it can't be bent, as it's flexible.
While I haven't done it yet, I know that if the blade isn't super sharp, the foam will be ripped.

It is in fact more like 2mm foam that is advertised in the description which is a slight issue for me since I still need 1mm and there is a 2in sticker on each sheet which for most applications will make that 2in square useless at least for me. "Quality" "Quality" - I haven't made any projects with it yet, but the foam does seem to be a good quality product. I bought black, as you can see in the photos. My post will be updated once I have completed several projects. You can check them out on my Instagram account (plasticarcade) if you wish. (Ed. note shameless As well, the foam seems quite durable and industrial feeling, although I have not applied it to any projects.
Down Sides
- I need to see if it can handle some heat and shaping as well. It was commented on by many people that the sticker on the bottom corner was stuck a bit too much and could waste some foam. Please note that. Furthermore, I think the thickness should be around 2mm instead of just 1mm. Again, does not bother me, but overall seems fine to me
I will investigate some methods to remove the stickers and see if I can get them off without damaging the foam, or at least reduce its cosmetic usability so I will report back shortly. In sum, it all comes down to this. At the moment I am giving it a 4 star rating as it seems to be good quality. Once I take it out and handle it, I will increase the ratings. In conclusion, if you are looking for what looks like good quality 2mm foam, then I'd recommend this.
An inexpensive package of craft foam is a bargain, so what could go wrong? I was unable to remove the large label from each sheet even after scrubbing it with soap and water (which left a sticky, yellow, rough spot behind). If you are planning to use the entire sheet, make sure you are aware of this!.
Attach one sheet to some cardboard and overlap by 1 cm on each. Foam also has a very slight, but visible, dampening quality since it is made of foam. In my case, I did not need to remove the labels on the back however, I did so based on reviews and found that on my batch, I could easily remove these labels, so the problem must have been fixed by the company.
I think the foam overall is decent. Some users have already mentioned that one of the pieces would be destroyed if it had a sticker on the back. Luckily, I'm using this foam for a project that doesn't need the extra weight, but other projects may face this problem. The color is where I have the most concerns. There is a dullness to the red, almost an orange glow. There is a lot of misinformation being advertised regarding the color. It is important to note that the "red" boards are not.
Despite good value and quality, there is a strong plastic smell, so I placed the sheets outside on my patio for 2 days for them to air out. The label is difficult to remove, as mentioned in other reviews, but since I was cutting out large circles, I just trimmed it off.
I like this product because it is easy to cut and use. Minnie Mouse ears can be made with this product. The easiest way to make this easier would be to trace the shape with a metallic marker.
I purchased this to use as a divider for a tool box. Underneath, a black foam layer was cut out to hold hand tools in place. The color acts as a contrast against the black foam. A product of this type would be fine for this I can't comment on the quality of cuts made when it's cut into complex shapes, since I only performed straight cuts. As for the label, I did not pay attention to it since I turned it the other way. Rather than using a heat gun that can deform your paper, try heating up the label with blow dryer rather than using a heat gun.
There will be no more purchases of this type.
