Questions & Answers

What are the weather proof properties of the product? Can it be applied to concrete?

It works very well on concrete blocks when Mod Podge is used. A minimum of two coats is applied This is better than My experience with Mod Podge has been that it holds up well to the weather I can demonstrate. Wet weather doesn't seem to damage it in any way. A little fading of the colors has been observed due to the sun. It is best to use two coats of MP (dryed between each coat) for items that are going to be in the sun. Following this, I would apply two coats of Liquitex varnish (allowing each coat to dry in between). It would substantially decrease fading if those steps were taken.

Mod Podge can give you a headache. Are there any other users that experience this?

As a result of using it, I experience headaches. If it is snowing outside, I try to leave the window open, but it doesn't make it any easier since it is cold inside.

Would it be alright to apply oil paint to it if I were to use it as a finish?

It would seem to be okay to me, but I have not done it. If you're unsure, seal a small part of the area first.

Mod Podge works with photos printed on photo paper, right?

The mod podge seals photos onto tiny canvases beautifully, and we did this as an ornament project. I'm ready to do a little bit I hope the new photos I plan to print still work with this.

This adhesive is great for sticking plastic cat litter buckets with pictures on them
5/5

A clear acrylic gel medium, Mod Podge is basically what you would call an acrylic medium from an art background. However, it is not guaranteed to be archival, and it is less expensive. Perhaps it will be yellow or something of that sort. The Golden clear acrylic gel or Faber Castel clear acrylic gel will work very similarly to Mod Podge, but will last much longer since they are archival (acid-free and will not yellow over time) and cost about two to five times more than The Mod Podge method might be a bit confusing if you don't have an art background, since it is similar to Elmer's, except that Mod Podge doesn't dissolve into water and bugs won't eat it, unlike In Elmer's favor, it seals top surfaces, but it doesn't work on bottom surfaces. Elmer's glue can become sticky if moisture is present in the air later, making dirt/dust adhere to it. That's why it is recommended you cover something with it to keep moisture out. In addition, there's no way to clean Elmer's glue with an ordinary rag because moisture ruins it completely. A cheap alternative to Mod Podge, Mod Podge is easy to clean and can be used on craft projects. The Mod Podge I used to decorate my kitty litter buckets has worked great. Whenever I get cat litter, I get it in yellow buckets that are designed to hold the litter, which I clean and use as storage containers. As with nail polish remover, acetone can take out the ink (for every bucket, either it just wipes right off or it doesn't), and it all depends on the factory that made it or which month it was made, and so on, and so forth The ink used in each of the printers is different, but each is the same brand). Each bucket was then coated with Mod Podge to adhere the calendar pictures to it. For example, under the picture, one coat of glue will stick to it, and two coats of sealer over the top. Mod Podge goes on evenly, so once it dries I have a nicely decorated storage bin that can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. Plastic and Mod Podge adhere well to each other. My experience shows that I use about 3 ounces of acetone per bucket, along with 1 ounce of Mod Podge. A little Mod Podge stays just a little sticky on the surface during the entire year. There is nothing that can be done by touching the surface. For example, if you mounted a photograph on a book cover with Mod Podge, painted over the top as protection, then left it to dry for a couple of days, then stacked it, that pressure and touching of being in the stack would ruin the cover. The Mod Podge website recommends that you use a sealer, which they also sell, and if that is the topcoat, then it dries fast. If you are having it made for you, then it should take up to several months to cure. Unless you are a crafter, you probably won't need the separately sold sealer unless you are going to sell or gift them. Then you can have a quick cure time and not worry about including weird The surface of most artist gel mediums will also be a bit sticky for months after the application, because the medium is slow to cure. When you apply a second coat on top of the first one, it helps to bond the two, and if you glue it on, you'll later be able to eliminate the air bubbles, and then press down and fit it Mod Podge can be purchased as a small 2 ounce squirt bottle at Dollar Tree, which is a good way to test out the product Mod Podge is cheaper on Amazon now than at WalMart, so getting it from Amazon would be the best option. Moreover, there is no mention of a well ventilated area and no special requirements for using the product. The use of acrylic paint for art has no restrictions, and since Mod Podge is essentially a loss-cost clear acrylic paint, I wouldn't expect it to give off The glue smell is similar to that of.

Diamond paintings are great for sealing with this sealant
5/5

As you can see in the attached images, I love this sealant for sealing my finished diamond paintings. Due to the fact that Based on this method, I thin it with water and then paint my finished projects with a thin layer of it. It is as if the diamond beads are sealed off from the canvas and gives the shimmer of diamonds. The end result is a shiny material that does not come off the canvas. I really like it! A quick and simple method to clean up after use.

I give this glue five stars! This is what I found when searching for puzzle glue after my Grampa wanted to save the puzzle we made together
5/5

I really liked how it worked! Our work on this was completed months ago and it has held up well so far. As a result, it was easy to spread on the puzzle and covered it well. Make sure that any glue that has come in contact with your body is washed off In the process of picking it up I got it I suppose it's a good memory stain though, so please vote for my review if you find it useful. I appreciate it.

The best sealer I have ever I don't know what it is, but it looks like white glue (think Elmers glue)
5/5

The product works great to seal stuff up, and it is water soluble down to the point where It may be used with brushes with hair type bristles, as well as sponge brush styles, and it dries After 15 minutes, the surface is dry to the touch. However, please note! When two items that have been treated with coat are allowed to touch or rest on each other, it will remain tacky for up to 72 hours. While it feels dry after 15 minutes, it has not yet completely cured. Don't stack things on top of each other until it has fully cured.

The covids are kept away from you
5/5

A thousand piece puzzle I completed with my family was held together by the help of this amazing glue. In the end, we decided to hang the puzzle on the wall so that every day, we can stare at it. Nobody wants to go outside anymore since we just like to stare at each other! Amazing glue is responsible for it all! I like it because it goes on with a small, cheap paintbrush really easily. As it goes on, it is milky white, though it dries to a clear finish so don't be scared at first. I have it hanging from the wall with thumbtacks. Those are the strength of these products. I highly recommend it.

This is an excellent option for making jewellery, eyeglass cases, and other small items
5/5

I used to use only the matte finish Mod-Podge, but recently switched to this one. They all benefit from it because it gives them a beautiful high-quality look. A professional gloss-like finish Finished product looks great. Afterward, I apply a coat or two of polyacrylic varnish as extra protection.

Mod Podge is one of my favorite ideas
5/5

I'm blown away by this stuff. The term mod was invented when the word was first used. Until now, there is nothing that works as well as poker. The glitter was used to dress up pine cones. Mod Podge and glitter can be mixed into a thick gloopy paste, which can then be applied to The best part is that once it is dry, it dries fast. There's no way to take the glitter July will be the last month where you pick up tiny pieces of glitter. Elmer's glue is watered down and I've tried to substitute that. This is bad. It works just as well as Mod Podge!.
