How Our Score Is Calculated

Product Description

Package: 12 wax seals in a lovely box (Color: Dark Red, Excellent Color, Good Print Look), one pack makes over 200 wax seals (13-17 wax seals per stick).
Size: The Sealing Wax Stick is 2/5 inch in diameter and 5 2/5 inch in length, and it fits in a standard size glue gun. Melting the wax sticks with a glue gun is very simple, and there's no risk of burning your fingers.
High quality: non-toxic, smokeless, no bubbles, melts easily, and dries quickly. They are made of wax and a small amount of resin, making them more flexible than traditional wax and less likely to break when subjected to external force.
Easy to use: These wax sticks are a breeze to use in the wax glue gun, and there's no need to worry about soot getting on your lovely wax seals. If you're going to seal a lot of envelopes or invitations, this is a more efficient method.
Wedding invitations, envelopes, cards, and manuscripts can all be sealed with this product. Also great for gift wrapping, wine bottle packaging, tea or cosmetics packaging, and party invitations.

Questions & Answers

Is it necessary to use a heavy-duty envelope?

Our seals were created on parchment paper and then adhered to the envelope with hot glue. We discovered that this was the most effective method for weeding out bad ones without having to go through a large number of envelopes. Our envelopes were of average quality, similar to those that come with greeting cards, and you'll need to pay extra postage if you're mailing them because you won't be able to use a forever stamp.

What's the best way to adjust the glue gun's temperature?

Low and high temperatures are controlled by a switch. br>It isn't in everyone's possession. The one with the switch is the one you should get.

Is it possible to mail this wax? Will it get past the emvelope's post office machines?

I had no problems mailing invitations with this seal on them.

For use in a glue gun, it melts too quickly
3/5

When I first received these, I noticed that they were more flexible than my usual brand, but I didn't dwell on it for long. Sure enough, I put this in my glue gun, yes on low heat setting, and second seal in, the wax melted too quickly and pushed out the back end, destroying my glue gun rather than pushing out the tip, ruining my glue gun. I quickly burned through half a stick, assuming there was air in the gun, and gave the trigger two pumps before realizing how much wax was pouring out of my gun, which was running everywhere- That's how quickly it turns into a puddle. It's a shame, because this red is much richer than the one offered by my usual brand, but I've made thousands of seals with my other brand and have never had this problem. If you want to use your glue gun, you should not buy this.

This template is ideal for mass-producing wedding invitations
5/5

The wax does run a little thin when pressed, as others have mentioned, but I actually prefer it that way. It gives the seal a delicate feel and makes it easier to tear open when opening something. The seal goes perfectly with my wedding invitations and color scheme, as you can see. I'm really looking forward to using these glue gun seals to put all of my invitations together! br>br>In my second image, I included some test seals made with both the new wax and some beaded seal wax that you're supposed to melt over a flame that I had. The old wax (middle seal) was a horrible color (it was supposed to be wine/burgundy colored), had a chalky texture, and took FOREVER to melt; clearly, the top and bottom seals (this product) are far superior. These glue gun seals are fantastic - I use them all the time. Super easy to use, entertaining, with a wide range of colors to choose from and excellent quality. I would strongly suggest it.

The color is beautiful, and the fit is perfect
5/5

Excellent color, excellent fit, and extremely simple to use with a wax glue gun. We purchased these with the expectation of using a large number, but we only used four to seal all of our wedding invitations (under 200).

The color is not what it appears to be
3/5

The item is not what it appears to be. I placed an order for the Blood Red sticks. Problems. br>br>
1. ) The color is correct, but the red has black swirls in it. It also has metallic glitter embedded in the resin, giving it a gleaming and bejeweled appearance. 2. br>br>1. br>br>br>br>br>br ) I'm using a standard 40w glue gun, and the "wax" sticks thin out to the point where the pool of wax runs all over the envelope instead of forming in one spot. Only if you have a glue gun with a temperature control will this work. However, lowering the heat will prevent the resin from flowing out of the gun. br>br>Summary: br>br> These aren't wax sticks in the traditional sense. They're glue resins that look like wax but aren't as good as the real thing. I think I'll just use the melted wax in a spoon method from now on.

The wax is extremely runny - even when using a low-temperature glue gun Bummer
3/5

Okay, I'll admit it: I'm a jerk. "This is genius!" I thought when I saw these on Pinterest because I have enough craft supplies to fill a Hobby Lobby. Where have these been for the majority of my life? " I adore wax seals, but I despise the soot that is left behind when I use candle seals. I bought several colors, and I bought these specifically for Christmas cards, because red is my favorite color, and the color is absolutely stunning. Unfortunately, when using a glue gun, the wax melts far too quickly and becomes extremely runny. Of course, I used a low-temperature glue gun, but the wax literally ran out of the glue gun's end, making it a nightmare to use. 10 times grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr I ended up cutting them into smaller pieces to use with a wax melting spoon, which worked fine, but it was a bummer not to be able to use the glue gun, which would have made things a lot easier.

Everything went off without a hitch! These did exactly what I needed them to do! Incorporate a standard glue gun (not a miniature) into the design
4/5

I was able to stamp approximately 120 invitations using only seven of the twelve stamping sticks! The only criticism I have of these wax sticks is that they appear to be dyed glue. Perhaps it was because they lacked shimmer or iridescence? Even so, they were stunning!.

I really enjoyed this wax and used it a lot
5/5

I only went through two sticks while making 63 invitations and 63 save the dates. Now that I have all of this extra, I am confident that I will be able to put it to good use.

Purchases should be avoided
3/5

This hot glue gun caused me a lot of problems. The first is that the package claims that the temperature can be adjusted, but this is not the case. I should have paid more attention to the product images, as they clearly show that there is no way to adjust it. The second issue is that the glue sticks leak out the bottom near the trigger due to the poor design. Finally, the gun turns off and on at random, even when no one is holding it. This, I assume, is due to the "automatic power on and off" feature. It is not worth the money and does not function.
