There were four of them. If they're the right diameter, 6" should suffice.

I suppose you were counting on me not counting the contents of the bag because there were only 193 pieces in it.
These were a huge let down. We ordered them because they would be delivered the next day, allowing my children to use them for their current project. We're in a situation where they have to use them, but I'm not going to buy them again, and I'm hoping no one else does either. We've tried a variety of glue stick brands, but they've all come out clear. When heated and used, these have a noticeable yellowing that does not go away. A cardboard box with 50 sticks was delivered. The box's ends and sides were taped to it. It's better after picking the paper off, but some won't be usable because the stuck-on paper shouldn't have gone through the glue gun in the first place. It's 100 degrees outside, so I put these on my porch in the shade. They've been in the house for several hours at 72 degrees, and the stickiness hasn't gone away. I would return them if I had the time, but my kids need to finish the project today, so they will have to use a few of the sticks, rendering the product unreturnable. It was a waste of money because the product was partially melted, stuck to the packaging, and many sticks are no longer usable due to paper stuck on the entire 8-inch side. It was also very yellow.
To keep birds off my porch, I used twisted wire that was hung from the conduit pipe. When a bird attempted to land, the wire would break. My guards have become ineffective as a result of my actions. To keep the wire from falling over, I used hot glue. I didn't mind that the glue dried cloudy. This glue had more "strings" than the glue that came with the gun, which I found to be a plus. If you're trying to make spider webs, that would be fantastic. because that's exactly how it felt.
The hot glue cools down faster than the sticks that came with my $5 Walmart hot glue gun, but it takes an excruciatingly long time to harden. Unless you have a compelling reason to essentially fill something with hot glue, I would recommend spending a few dollars more on something better.
It was exactly what I had hoped for - a large bag of hot glue sticks of excellent quality I'd buy it again if my supply ran out.
I did not work in the craft industry.
So far, there have been no issues. I had purchased a new glue gun, which I had assumed was a regular size glue gun, but it turned out to be a mini, which I like fine, but I did have sticks. Because my sticks were the larger/regular glue sticks and the mini glue gun only came with a few, I had to order more mini glue sticks. I haven't had any issues with them so far.
While the product appears to be in good working order, I'm not sure who was in charge of the packaging - Amazon or the seller The bag had been buried in the muck. The quantity of glue sticks was adequate (in fact, there were a couple extra in the package!). As a result, I'm not sure how "quality controlled" the items are. I'll be testing them this week to see how well the glue holds up.
