What about Crayola super tips? Does this work with those?

Thank you so much for your message. There are also sets that work with Crayola markers on Amazon that I have seen, but this particular set only uses Sharpies Thank you! I hope that helps.

What if I use these? Will the Cricut warranty be voided?

Cricut warns not to use any add-ons within the first year, as doing so may void the warranty, but since this simply sits on top of the pen holder, I can't see how it could harm the machine or how its use could be detected.

Are these pens compatible with the Cricut machines?

Don't buy new Sharpies use your existing ones! Upon reading the directions, I found these adapters extremely easy to use, and with them, I have been able to use every color in the Sharpie rainbow on my Cricut Joy cards

I was surprised to find out that they actually work perfectly and with no problems. Though I rarely use Cricut Joy, I decided not to buy the $$$ pens they sell exclusively. In fact, I did purchase their Smart Vinyl, and that's where I used these pens, to create a logo for a homemade salsa label. As I was nervous because the Smart Vinyl is so shiny, I thought the pens (Sharpie Ultra Fine Point ElectroPop) would slip around and not work, but it worked well and never missed a line as a result. It fit perfectly inside the Joy when I slipped the pink sleeve on to the pen. You'll have to draw outlines of what you want and then use the pens to color it in after the Cricut Joy finishes writing. I hate the fact you cannot color in anything with it, so you'll have to use pens to color it in after it has finished writing. Honestly, that was the only concern I had since I had trouble coloring things in because the paper is slippery, and you worry if the color will stick. However, it did. *Note* Make sure you read the instructions on the little cards that come with this item. You will be able to make a great project!.

It is a must for Cricut Joy fans! These are finally available for the Joy, and I am so glad about it

The Joy set I purchased now can be used for Sharpies in my Maker and up until now, I used an elastic and stick method to use Sharpies. It is so much easier to swap out pens with these and have them at the right height.

It is easy to use as you put the pen in and then have the machine do the rest. The success of this project lies in the fact that I can use practically any brand of marker. The Cricut pens I used to use aren't the only options available to me. There is a guide that shows me the different types of pens I can use with it. Because the material is a bit brittle, I give it a star. I'm not confident in its robustness.
