I ordered the Joy, it arrives in the mail, looking forward to making cards, but today I found out that the Joy costs Card making mat isn't even included in the price of 00. What a disappointment! The demos show that they do not include some of the basic requirements to make what they show on the web page.
What I wanted to find out was how the ACTUAL MACHINE worked, not people complaining that their other pens would not fit, or that their other brand of vinyl would not work. I must admit, for a first-time user like me, this is pretty incredible. It is extremely easy to learn and highly intuitive. I found the iPhone app to be fairly challenging to learn, but after a couple attempts, I was able to master it. Accessories like markers and smart vinyl can be added on without becoming costly for casual hobby users. This is awesome - not having to use a mat to cut vinyl. "Just one star?" What do you mean by that? As an alternative to paying for each design separately, you can subscribe to their $10 monthly service and access the designs to cut/print. I believe this system should be priced at $99 being that the designs need to be purchased individually.
There is nothing funny about this machine. There is hardly anything it does $25 would be too much to pay for that The cost would be considerably less than It was returned to me. Your money is not worth it.
Although I bought the cricut specifically to cut out stickers for my Etsy page, no matter how much I edited my cuts to perfectly align with the stickers, it kept cutting out in exactly the same place. I even tried printing from the app and cutting from the print, but the cricut would move the cuts so they did not The cricut I tried to use would not work for me, so I wasted $20 worth of product. I had to exchange it for the Cricut Air, which hopefully will make sticker making easier. The least I can say is that I'm disappointed.
I have always wanted one but have never been able to afford one. In my case, the Joy is cheaper and I don't have the space for the large models, so I opted for the Joy and I am so glad I did since it is exactly what I need. My primary objective was to make custom decals for my car and for my laptop There are many things you can do with the Joy, and it It was fun making the first four or five, I would say, and they were all The program was super easy to use as well, I had it up in no time Opening the box within 10 minutes and cutting as soon as possible after that.
JOB WELL DONE! Cricut has been on my wish list for a few years, but I was reluctant to purchase due to the size of other cutting It was so intimidating to deal with those bad boys, not to mention the price tag! It's finally all the rage now, and now they're coming out with a compact machine, and I'm absolutely loving It is super easy to use and navigate the app and you are able to make your There's nothing I love more than love. I have made a few cards and even a drawing on my iPhone and uploaded them straight to my Cricut Design Space.
Yes, you read that right! The pictures were designed right in my palm! Overall, I feel I made the right decision for my needs and myself. Those of you wanting to do a little DIY craft will definitely want to check this out.
I've had it for over a month and I highly recommend Although I had always wanted a Cricut, I did not want to get a large model or one that had all kinds of features I didn't need. The one you choose for just vinyl decals, labels, or iron ons can be practical when you need just a few. It gets four stars due to the fact that the blade needs to be replaced after a month, I put a lot of detail into the decals and labels, and some were It is not clear how many projects a blade is supposed to be capable of, but I hope that I won't have to replace it every month.
I bought this so I could have some fun with it As for stickers or anything like that, I never intended for them to be used. It is frustrating that you have limited options for connectivity and free designs are virtually non-existent. As a result, I was very upset that a lot of the designs I uploaded (from the internet or free clip art) wouldn't print, I opted to use the Cricut design app and the designs cost There are 99 on A few of them were not compatible with the Cricut Joy, so I wound up getting sucked into the business. However, I did get the first month of "design" free after I purchased, but again, a lot of the designs don't work, so I spend a lot of time designing something, have problems connecting to the Joy, then it's incompatible and I have to Upon completion of the first month's free design, your monthly charge will be You can access clip art and some fonts for a monthly fee of 99 cents. I knew this, I would have just purchased the T-shirts instead, which would have been way more affordable, and much less frustrating for me. The $179 Joy was far too expensive and I left with huge disappointment rather than shirts I wanted.
