If we compare these blades side-by-side with the Cricut brand blade, we can see Unlike the blue caps, the red caps are the same as the name brand. On the other hand, they cut right through the backing of my HTV. perfectly (although one area of one letter cut through the backing, hence one star deduction since I haven't done this with any brand before). Overall, I am able to use the red and blue on paper and vinyl that does not require the backing to be removed. I bet you'll save a lot of money after that.
So, maybe it will be alright for the price. I had trouble getting it to correctly cut with my Cricut, but it worked fine with my other machines. Unless it was cutting straight through the vinyl, it wasn't enough to cut through it. The product was not worth buying.
It's a waste of money to buy these blades! Using these blades, I damaged excellent vinyl! I decided to attach pictures to allow anyone to see just how badly the rip went. This blade cuts the front and the back of the blade. On the rice paper one, you can see that the yellow cap ripped the vinyl as you can see in the You should beware of the buyer!.
This was my first time using the Cricut Explore Air 2, and I had nothing but issues with the blade. in and there was no issue at all. I will be ordering more of.
If something had been provided to indicate which color corresponds to which angle cutting blade, that would have been wonderful.
They come with a lot in the package for the price and they cut just as well as the Cricut brand.
They were exactly what I needed and were great. At first, I thought they sent me the wrong blades, but it turns out you have to take them out of the protective cover. It is possible that other reviewers spoke the same thought simply by looking at the exposed end.
A very disappointing experience. There are several pieces of vinyl and cardstock I've ruined. There is no proper way of cutting through any thickness, no matter how thick the blade. A very disappointing experience.
