This machine is a game-playing machine. changer! I spent the entire afternoon personalizing my items with this hot foil stamping machine; all you have to do is plug it in, wait 3 minutes for it to reach the proper temperature, and you're good to go. The machine even comes with a small amount of foil to practice with, and the brass letters are simple to change. The machine is small enough that it does not obstruct traffic. br>I'm excited to get started on some new projects.

It takes a long time for the machine to learn on its own. We tried and failed numerous times before figuring it out and experimenting with temperatures. Only a few extra fuses and a manual are included with the machine. You'll have to navigate and teach yourself how to use the machine because the manual is mostly in Chinese. We ordered a custom die from the seller, and it was (3. 5” x 1. 5"), with a price tag of $50. The die had to be shipped from China, but it arrived quickly. The end result of using our die and finding the settings that worked best for us was stunning. We were hesitant to use the machine after receiving it and considered returning it; however, I'm glad we persevered because it has made a significant difference in our packaging.

So, I've only had this machine for a few days. It's a well-made product that was simple to put together. It includes all of the necessary tools for adjustments, as well as extra fuses and parts. It did not, however, include a screw with which to secure a die. I'm not sure how big the mounting hole is because there's no documentation on that. I'm not sure if a parts list was supposed to be included because there was none. br>br>I'm a leatherworker specializing in vegetable-tanned leather. tan. In natural veg tan, I'll tell you, this doesn't exactly leave a deep mark. However, I think I'll have to experiment with it some more. I haven't tried it with the foil yet, but it appears that it will be a shallow foiled stamp. br>br>The only decent imprint I got was with a 180C setting and a 15 second press. The force required to pull the handle down is also quite strong. It's necessary for me to use both hands. One is used to stabilize the machine, while the other is used to lower the handle. br>br>If I start to see better results, I may update this. Running to the store and fabricating a small part to attach my maker's mark is going to be a pain. The sole purpose of this machine is to imprint a design onto a material. You'd think the hardware for attaching the design would be included.

I've had this for a few weeks and have had a chance to play around with it before writing a review. The press is functional in the sense that it heats up and can emboss with heat. It also appears to be well-made and includes a few extra cables. The temperature can be adjusted easily, but that's about it for the benefits. br>br>There is no simple way to install your stamps on this press. You can attach your stamps or letter holder to the back of the top plate by running a screw through a slot in the top plate. Because there is very little clearance for an Allen screw and none at all for a screwdriver, getting the stamps installed is a major pain. Also, once it's installed and heated up, you can't change the stamps until it cools down because you have to remove the screw by sticking your fingers next to the heat plate. Second, and perhaps more importantly, there is no way to align your stamp on the heat plate so that it is square to the top and your workpiece is square to the bottom. I'm also unaware of any type of adapter that could be used to accomplish this task. To make matters worse, there is no mechanism in place to keep the machine's head square with the base as it moves up and down. As a result, by the time you adjust the head and install the stamp, there's a slim chance it'll be square with the base, rendering the alignment grid nearly useless. br>br>In short, I'm very dissatisfied with this machine and wish I had chosen something else. There are 250 Komatex. We didn't have a hot stamp machine, so we went to Amazon and ordered one. com to find a machine capable of performing the task. br>br>We chose this machine because it was large enough and cost a reasonable amount of money. br>br>It did not disappoint when it arrived. It arrived in excellent condition and was incredibly simple to assemble. We were up and running in no time after setting the type and connecting the type tray to the heated platen. Note: You will need to purchase a type or type tray separately because it is not included. br>br>After the platen has heated up for a few minutes, you can start stamping your test stamps. You'll need to experiment with your heat setting and set the pressure by adjusting the platen's height to your work piece. br>br>Once set, use some tape to create alignment marks on the non-heated base so you can accurately place your work piece for consistent registration. A grid has also been drawn on the base. br>br>Overall, we are very pleased with the machine, which stamped 3,500 pieces flawlessly for this project. br>By the way, the foil stamping was a big hit with the customer.

It was very simple to put together; there is a small manual to guide you through the process, but it was very intuitive to do so. In the box, there was a sample of foil, thermal tape, tools, and replacement parts. I also ordered a set of letters and a letter holder from the same company, so I could immediately test it. I simply plugged it in and, without changing any settings (it was already set at 150 degrees), I was able to emboss on paper and bookcloth with foil and without it, and it came out perfectly. A tiny amount of pressure is required to emboss, and it gets hot quickly. I decided to contact the vendor to order some brass molds and to ask about the product. They responded the same day and were very cooperative with all of my questions. So far, I'm very pleased with the results.
