The cutting pads are required for the dies to function, but SIZZIX's quality is disappointing. The cutting pads warp and don't last very long. I've only had these for about 6 months, and they're warping and not working, just like their dies. I'm sorry I bought the BIG SHOT PRO and wish I had spent my money on a higher-quality die cutting machine.
These are nice, and they appear to be thicker than the Big Shot pads, but they are expensive. I try to stock up on them when they're on sale and save the rest. a pad is available On the plus side, they're more durable and don't lose their shape as easily. Because the plates do not show cut marks as much as the smaller plates, the price is justified. The plates aren't a luxury; they're a requirement. These are required in order for your stack (sandwich) to pass through the machine without damaging the die. Since they're on sale right now, I'd recommend picking up a spare and keeping it as a backup.
They're in charge of fabric cutting. I have no complaints, and I anticipate that they will perform admirably, as others before them have.
Fast shipping, and these pads work perfectly with my Big Shot Pro die cutting machine, though they are a little heavy.
The adapter kit was terrible, and it was nearly impossible to get the grey to work properly. Anyway, I was using my bigshot's extended pads, so I began looking for a large set for the pro. This was exactly what I needed for the 12. 25" x 14. xx is ideal and will work well with the custom dies I've ordered. Now everything is in place. Thank you to both Amazon and Ellison for making this possible.
They're cutting plates, which I needed because the machine only came with one; however, a large embossing mat is what I really want.
