Questions & Answers
Using the carbon paper we use, it doesn't work very well on plastic. I'm not sure about the other papers.
These styluses have been used for both tracing (on white and black paper) and scratching lines into acrylic paintings. They're well-designed for this purpose. They should be able to work with oils, in my opinion.

I wrote to the seller after one of mine split and fell apart, but got no response. The part where you don't get a response is the most aggravating.
I really needed one with a split down the side.
I know the sizes were listed, but I was expecting them to be more dissimilar in size; I can't tell the difference just by looking at them. I believe that one end of each of them is identical, with only the sizes of the other ends varying. This item is extremely durable. Ball with a smooth surface. It's built to last.
It's been a little more than 30 days, and the system is refusing to let me get a replacement or a refund. This cannot be allowed to continue. Yes, they were cheap, but I expected them to last much longer than four times as long.
I needed a method for transferring the outline of buildings from a printed (on paper) image to a canvas. I discovered that carbon paper works, but that my pencils and pens did not. They wobbled because of the canvas texture, and I had to use too much pressure to keep them in place. I came across these stylus tools, and they were ideal for the job. Fine or bold lines can be transferred to the canvas using the size selection. My method entails placing the photo beneath some shear "onion skin" paper and tracing the building features I require with a pencil onto the paper. Remove the printed photo and replace it with carbon paper, then use the stylus to trace over this onion skin paper. I can also place a thicker piece of paper under the carbon paper to get a duplicate of what I drew on the canvas, which I use to keep track of the colors I used in different sections. I found it to be extremely helpful in my work.
These devices provided the solutions! They've been a fantastic addition to my painting collection and tools.
These were necessary for transferring my drawings to different surfaces, such as canvas. I haven't used them yet, but they appear to be of good quality and are the most cost-effective alternatives I've found. Some people might prefer the ones with different colored handles for different head sizes, but I can see well enough to know which ones I want to use based on the size of the head. I believe this is a good purchase, and the heads and the plastic handles with which they are held appear to be well-made. This purchase has surpassed my expectations.
I'm incredibly disappointed! I have hand problems and needed something larger than what I already had. They're even more compact than the ones I had before. The low-cost pencil case does not compensate for the even lower-cost item inside.
