Questions & Answers

Is it possible to use this in combination with modgepodge to seal a diamond painting without having to heat it?

The chemicals in embossing powders may react badly with ModgePodge, causing cloudiness, curdling, and other problems. If you don't need the heat, there are beautiful pigments (superfine plain powders) available on the market and Amazon, such as PearlEx by Jacquard and other brands, that are much easier to use than embossing powders and can be mixed with anything. either a water-based or a non-water-based product. The colors are vibrant and can be mixed and matched indefinitely. I use white (regular) glue and PearlEx pigments. Modge Podge is a term used to describe the process of adhering things any clear varnish (oil-based) and wood varnish (oil-based); Acrylic or oil paints (amazing results when combined with gold paint! mâché papier; Embossing powders serve a specific purpose; for example, they can be used to create mosaics. For greeting cards, I only use them with a heat gun. I hope this has been of assistance.

What is the weight of a jar?

Jars are labeled with a 1 oz (34 ml) capacity. 1 oz = 28 according to Dr. Google. Dr Google converts 34 ml to 34 grams, resulting in a total weight of 3495 grams. Because the jars can't be 1 oz and 34 ml at the same time, you have a choice. My best guess is that they weigh around 30 grams, plus or minus a few grams.

Is it possible to use this on resin?

It's the first time I've tried it with resin. If it has a glossy finish, I believe it could be easily rubbed off, but that is just a guess on my part; it could also melt depending on how hot your tool is. It might work if you move the heater around like you would when making cards or scrapbooking, but that's just a guess.

Both fine detail and large elements are stunning
5/5

Beautiful embossing powders for fine details. I've been using them on a regular basis and am very pleased with them. They're fine enough for delicate stamp details, but I've also covered a 4-inch square with them. 25 x 5. With them, I made a 5 inch card, heat embossed the sheet, and it came out smooth and perfect (if I moved the heat gun evenly!). They have a long shelf life. What a fantastic product!.

Both of these worked perfectly for embossing Christmas cards. Because this powder is so fine, it's ideal for stamping intricate letters.
