It'll do the job for my craft, but I was hoping for a smoother break if I just scored it on both sides. But that's the way it turns out. It's very firm and thick. For simple crafts, this is ideal. I had to cut it because I couldn't find the right size, which would have worked out better if I had more time. improved equipment Obviously, I scored it with a small Fiskars blade. Then, as a result of my hands, it breaks very unevenly. br>br>By the way, my finger isn't broken; I just have hypermobile fingers. Silver ring splints are required. discovered 2nd- Hand frame size. Nice product; next time, I'd get a more common size for thrift store framing (8x10? ). I'm thinking about cutting some of these or drilling holes in them so that I can hang my paintings with nice cording.
For classroom use, I created a white board with a chalkboard on one side. br>br>Sturdy, thick, and ideal for use in a virtual classroom or with a document camera. br>br>Perfect size for spotting problems on each board before I start teaching.
This is a great set of project-ready pieces.
With a coat of gesso on top, you've got a cheap oil painting base.
To protect it from being damaged, it came in a box. For my purposes, it's adequate, thick, and sturdy. It's what I'm using to glue canvas and linen together for oil painting. It should last a long time, in my opinion. Good buy.
