Yes. 70 pt is a substantial thickness that provides a great deal of support. When placed on its edges, it will not bend. Each sheet is about the same thickness as a quarter.

Is it possible to use epoxy resin on top of these?

Yes. Resin is an excellent choice for chipboard.

Is it possible to paint these with acrylic paint?

Yes. Many people use it as a canvas. Acrylics are a good option.

According to the reviews, it's actually an 8. Is anyone able to confirm that this is a 5 x 11?

Excellent for Cricut use

This chipboard is fantastic, and it's even better than Cricut's chipboard in terms of durability for box and book projects. With a deep cut blade or a knife blade, you can easily cut it. With this chipboard, the book is 1 1/4 inch wide and holds up well.

This is a high-end chipboard! I just got the chipboard, so I haven't had a chance to try it yet, but I wanted to write this review because I've seen other reviews that mostly focused on how the package looked when it arrived

Because I live in Florida, where it is extremely humid, I was concerned that it would warp if I left it outside. My boards were wrapped in a plastic covering when I opened the package. The planks were perfectly level! There are no signs of warping. br>The material is also of excellent quality. The thickness is exactly right and the construction is solid. br>I received my package two days earlier than expected.

While it arrived as described and I really wanted to like it, and it does cut like butter for straight cuts in a Cricut, I wouldn't recommend it for anything other than straight cuts. To get it through the machine, I had to cut an inch off the side because anything other than a straight cut didn't work. I'm sorry, but you shouldn't waste your money. I'm going to stick to the chipboard from Cricut.
