I can't run because of my physical limitations, but I just placed an order for 1 day prime delivery a few moments ago! Amazon, thank you very much! I'm ecstatic because this is the first time in 20 years that I've bought brand new scissor/scissors! I have a strange habit of keeping scissors in my possession for years at a time. I've never run with them in years because I've never been able to keep up with them. All I did was walk. talked. Can you blame the scissors for filling up so quickly? They'd had enough! They eventually became back scratchers due to their dullness and bluntness. I didn't want to further injure them by attempting to sharpen them in order to restore their full functionality. No, I didn't even bother to order a sharpener for them because I didn't have 5 minutes. It's better if it's as dull as possible. I used to have a purple pair (all 7 inches, by the way, maybe that was the norm back then). years ago) a black pair, as well as a few black The cake with the knife sets sit in heavy blocks of wood, which are red kitchen scissors. Those scissors, of course, didn't last long in the heavy knife block. They may have been stored in the silverware tray drawer for a few months, but they were always used for everything from cutting paper to hair trimming. All because the cheap full 7 inch scissors turned back scratchers and cut open junk food packages, well help rip them open easier, but they were just too full to use any longer. I didn't even think about sharpening them or replacing them. I didn't decide to order these until 30 minutes ago! $4. Taxes are included in the total of $8. Basically, to cut 3 inch pieces of good yarn for a DIY latch hook project! Read the reviews for the rest of the story! I'm excited to see how well these work. to make room for my long fingers

On fabric, it looks fantastic. devoted to discovering low-cost alternatives I bought five different brands of reasonably priced fabric cutting scissors. These Scotch 1448 are the best, much to my surprise! AmazonBasics, Westcott, Fiskars, and Stanley all pale in comparison. br>I recently purchased a new set of kitchen and 'all-purpose' scissors, but these Scotch 1448 scissors stand out for precisely slicing through all types of fabric with no 'chewing. ' br>deliver the kind of performance I'd expect from special seamstress scissors that cost around $100, but at a fraction of the cost. I'm glad I found them!.
br>br>I've had these scissors for a number of years and am very happy with them. They've seen a lot of action in the kitchen, the craft room, and around the house. I haven't used them for anything ridiculous, but these scissors will handle any odd job you can think of around the house. Over the years, they've remained satisfyingly sharp, with only minor wear to the grip. Despite being exposed to water and moisture on occasion, they have not rusted or corroded. They are likely to serve me for many more years. br>br>The scissors are what I believe most people would consider standard adult size, fitting a woman's hand comfortably and a man's hand reasonably well. In terms of size, I have no complaints. br>br>Buy these general-purpose items. With the expectation of many years of good service, I bought these scissors for a specific purpose.
For light tasks, these scissors are ideal for the office or desk. My thumb fits with plenty of room to spare in my large hands (typical glove size), but my index, middle, and ring fingers do not, and my pinky is missing. I have not used these for long periods of time, but I find them to be easy to control and have not experienced any fatigue or discomfort. There is a rubberized grip that adds some comfort, and the cut is very smooth. You can adjust tension if you want, but I found it to work perfectly out of the box. These aren't particularly attractive; they resemble scissors. I understand that some scissors are attractive, but these aren't among them. Defects are covered by a lifetime warranty. I'd buy them again if I needed them, but they appear to be well-made. I've only owned a few pairs of scissors in my life and have never spent more than $10 on them, so that's what I'd be comparing these to. There are better options available if you are concerned about quality or need something for heavier tasks.
These are perfect unless you need REALLY strong and sharp scissors to cut through something SUPER THICK. br>br>THE ONLY THING IS - I do have to tighten the screw that holds them together every now and then, but it's not a big deal and only takes a few seconds. I WOULD DEFINITELY BUY FROM THEM AGAIN. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Cutting open bags that are nearly impossible to tear open is one example. br>br>I didn't want to spend a lot of money, but I also didn't want to buy a pair that was "cheap. " They had to be gentle on my hands as well. PERFECT! br>br>THESE ARE PERFECT! Quality, low cost, the right size, and they work flawlessly. br>br>I'm not sure how well these would cut something really thick or heavy, but they're perfect for fairly light use.
Door Use. Except for heavy-duty outdoor activities, which necessitate gardening shears, these scissors are extremely versatile. br>br>Cuts are very smooth and there is very little friction. Precision cuts are simple to make, and it feels as if you're cutting with an extension of yourself. br>br>Very ergonomic, your hands won't strain after extended use, and it's very comfortable to hold compared to other scissors I've owned in the past. br>br>Overall, the best scissors I've owned in my lifetime.
These Scotch Precision Scissors, on the other hand, are among the best I've seen, for the following reasons: 1) While the blades do become dull over time, they do not appear to dull as quickly as some cheaper brands. 2) The blades maintain their alignment - at the very least on the 3-dimensional I've used four pairs of shoes. The blades of many scissors become misaligned due to a loose hinge. That hasn't happened to me yet with these. br>3) They are easy to hold: It shouldn't be too small, but neither should it be too big.
These scissors were not in good working order when they were delivered. Because the material folds in between the blades, the Tip to about 35% backwards of the scissors cannot cut floss or material. I tried using the adjustment screw, but it didn't help. br> I have a lot of "cheaper" scissors that don't have this problem with cutting. I was expecting a lot more cutting power from a pair of scissors with precision written all over them.
I ordered two pairs of these scissors to use in the current pandemic to make masks. I had my husband sharpen some very old scissors, but I thought these would be far superior. They're a disaster. I'm not sure why so many people say they're good for fabric. As far as fabric scissors go, both of these were of poor quality. I've been trying to stay away from stores, so I'm not sure if I'll be able to return them, but they're not worth keeping.
