Yes, the number and letter combinations are identical. The outside package, however, has a different code number. X000l9SZ15 is the code for it. (Note: The letter "l" is located between 0 and 9, and the number "1" is located between Z and 5.)
I don't have the Crazier Eights set, but I'm guessing they're comparable. You'll end up with 5 pieces that fit a 10" square.
If it's an 8-inch square, you'll make an 8-inch square. It makes no difference in terms of width.

If you're a "fabriholic" with a New Year's Resolution to use up at least 5 plastic 20 gallon tubs of fabric before buying more, then you should PURCHASE THIS SET OF TEMPLATES and get cutting! Then take a seat and start sewing! You should have several quilt tops finished and ready to pass on for quilting before long! Your quilt guild will thank you, your spouse will adore you, and your teen will be proud of you. It's all too easy to make a mistake when cutting the wrong end. The templates are fantastic. I've used them in at least two or three quilts. It's simple to use, enjoyable to work with, and produces a beautiful quilt; the only thing that could be improved is a clearer indication of which end of " D" to cut out. If you're not paying attention, you might miss it.
