Product Description

Its easy-to-read 1 inch grids marked in 1/8 and 1/4 inch increments come printed in black and white on a 6-1/2 x 12-1/2 inch rectangle ruler. For cutting whole inches, simply use the white dots on the black numbers (the numbers are easy to read) and 1/4 inch grip sides.
Two 1/4-inch dashed lines are printed on adjacent sides of the envelope to assist in trimming the seam allowance. You can add the 1/2 inch seam allowance by using the patented Turn-A-Round feature - signified by the easy to read, white numbers (printed on black dots), and the 1/2 inch grip sides.
By cutting in whole inch increments, you can trim half-square triangles with the white 45 degree angle. Half-square triangles can be trimmed in half-inch increments using the black 45 degree angle. A second black line with a 45 degree angle is drawn so that two angles cross 1/4 inch away from the outer
This marking can be used to set a point on a flying goose unit or mark the crosshatching of a unit. Moreover, the ruler comes with an angle of 30 degrees and 60 degrees. A white horizontal line and a white vertical line are printed on the rectangle so the ruler's center can be easily identified. Make fringes and stripes by fussy cutting along these lines.
A steady hand and application of pressure allow the ruler to slide over the fabric. Our exclusive gripper holds the fabric in place as you cut, preventing slipping and wrong cuts. You can view a tutorial for these features by scanning the QR Code on the ruler.

Questions & Answers

Can you tell me if these are the older style with white circles, or the newer style with ?

I had one prior to the new ones I now have, but the previous one had a smaller white circle with a smaller black number inside. The new ones I have have a larger white circle with a larger black number inside. The numbers and circles in the larger sizes make it much more difficult to see the line and fabric edge. Creative Grid still holds a special place in my heart and I will buy more if I have the money to do so. It is just the size of the white circles and the numbers that appeals to me. Quilting is one of my activities, however my mother is more avid. I passed along my old squares to her and she enjoys creative grid now as well. It is a pleasure to meet

Can it do the work of the creative stripology grid cutter, such as cutting between ?

I'm talking about an entirely different ruler, which serves a completely A ruler like this is always on my quilt table. It is my go-to ruler. It is my go-to tool for cutting almost everything. In addition to having the Stripology cutter, I also have the Creative Grids 6 which is a fantastic cutting machine for strips and other cuts. There are 5 x 12 pieces. It is the best because of the markings!

Can you tell me which ruler this is? In the description, it is indicated that the ruler measures 6 1/2" x 12 1/2", but the photo shows it in square form. ?

Actually, I see a rectangle in this photograph, and it is 6 1/2 inches by 12 1/2 inches. You have asked a great question. Thank you so much. Thank you, Jayne

There is literally no ruler out there that fits my hands
5/5

I have tried/used every one In a sense, you could say that I chose That yellow band is distracting, and it makes it very difficult to see the fabric line beneath Moreover, I tried almost every type of ruler stabilizer I could find At first I used Omnigrip strips, then Grace came up with those little donuts (which work very well), and I admire them a lot. However, when I switched to the Creative Grids rulers, they had a lot of rough little circles throughout. It was hard for me to believe that these would hold up, but they do keep the rulers from skidding. There is nothing better than a ruler this size. As a matter of fact, it's 6 points. Since it is 5", it is very versatile compared to the other sizes. There are several others I have in various sizes that I love as well. It is so easy to see through them that no more fiddling around with the fabric lines is necessary.

My favorite ruler is the Creative Grids ruler
5/5

Creative Grids rulers are awesome! I love them! I highly recommend this gripper. It works great and is extremely accurate. In my block of the month class, I learn how to make quilt blocks. When I read the instructions, I thought that 1/8 inch cutting would be easy, but I had difficulty getting those cuts with my old rulers. A Creative Grids ruler was recommended by the instructor. Eventually, I bought one, and it was exactly what she said. The Creative Grids ruler has replaced all the others I had.

My goal is to work on my crafting on this grid. The weight of this bag is excellent, and the non-slip edges keep the bag in place and provide The weight of it keeps it from moving too easily, since it's a bit heavy. The quality is good and the price is reasonable.

You are a great This ruler has been improved a lot
5/5

There were some dots on the lines that were removed so that the lines would be easier to see. Even though it needs some improvement, I prefer this style over the previous Creative Grids style for accuracy. The size is perfect and I would like to purchase other sizes!.

An edge of one of these rulers was broken
3/5

Purchasing two of these rulers was a good investment. My friend can keep one and I can keep one. The rulers were purchased especially for the class I will be teaching with Bonnie Hunter on February 21st. I opened the ruler as I was packing up my supplies for the class today. There is a break in one of the corners. This is why I feel so upset that I never opened it before.

Rotary ruler with the best accuracy
5/5

These quilt rulers are far and away my favorite brand out of all those I have tried. As they are cut, they do not slip out of position. The fonts on these are easier to read than the ones on.

He was a great ruler
5/5

This ruler is my favorite of all time. Having the larger one, I found I needed the smaller one because the larger one sometimes is a little too long and this one allows for more accurate cutting.
