The Itty-Bitty Eights Rectangle Ruler comes in a 3 by 7 inch size designed by Lisa Bongean of Primitive Gatherings. The ruler has easy-to-read

On both light and dark fabrics, the black and white dashed eighth inch markings can be seen.

If you cut your miniature quilt pieces with dashed 1 inch grid lines, you will achieve accuracy. If you are cutting 1/8 inch units, it is best to use black diamonds for 1/4 inch units, white diamonds.

A steady hand and application of pressure allow the ruler to slide over the fabric. With the exclusive gripper, the fabric will remain stable while cutting, which prevents slipping and cuts that are not sharp.

It is nice to have rulers like these. The rulers have an etched area around the perimeter so the fabric or paper can be gripped. Using this method works wonderfully, it is a brilliant idea. I highly recommend it.

It is one of the ruler sizes you might need but are unaware of. Travel is so much easier with this, and it's so handy for little cuts. Unlike all other Creative Grids rulers, this ruler offers a grippy mat side for excellent grip.

The ruler I received was very disappointing to me. is very difficult to read it because it has so many lines and marks. As well as being expensive, it is also very complicated.
