A sewing hobby I haven't indulged in for more than 20 years has been revived. As part of my adventure, I needed rulers. You have done a great job! After struggling with Add-ons for some time, I finally got to grips with it In the quarter I meant to say "LOL" when I ruined my 6" It never occurred to me that a ruler had to be used correctly. What a funny story. I ordered two more six" in addition to the two I already purchased. Fortunately, I haven't ruined the 12" since I've learned how to use it correctly. I love how easy it is to cut now that I have the Add-on It's quarter time! The insert would have taught me how to use the ruler if I had read it first. It makes sense to read the directions first, but why.
Where have these rulers been all my life! It is so much neater and easier to do paper piecing with these. I can't believe I have been doing foundation piecing without them for so long.
allows us to reuse the patterns over and over again, with great accuracy, when we use freezer paper piecing. fold over the narrow back part of the paper to see your seams before you trim. The quarter edge will help you determine how much trimming you need to do. I love it!.
Must-have for those who work with paper piecing. It is similar to the yellow rulers we used to have and these ones were my friend's. As soon as I saw them, I bought them. When folding back your paper you can just flip the ruler and ta-da! The shaved edge will allow you to fold your paper back easily. I have a quarter inch to spare.
Adding the tapered edge for folding foundation paper, this addition is more useful than ever From the original add-a-quarter ruler to the new quarter ruler, there is a vast improvement You can find a quarter ruler here. It was a nice bonus to receive two sizes of the same product.
A quarter inch can be accurately added to any piece of paper using this ruler. It creases the paper, and you then snug the lip against the paper. Using a ruler is far faster than doing it by hand.
My regular CM ruler measures 6" with a quarter inch add-on - I already have it Am now doing more and more paper piecing and I like how the pattern has a ruler plus a line along one side and a flattened edge to fold it Hence, I will no longer have to keep a laminated card next to my sewing machine. All of it can be achieved with one tool.
Initially, I wasn't sure I needed this ruler, but I bought it for a paper piecing class. The fact that someone thought to do that was so impressive to me! The paper folds over smoothly, and the edge of the lid is tapered, so it works perfect for me. As soon as I need another item like this, I will buy it again.
