I also have one of the older mint green models and it works well. About six years ago, I had a cute kitten.
It is not designed for use with the curvy cutter, but with the straight cutters.
It is no problem for me to ship this to California, as I have done so many times before. There are no laws or regulations against this item if that is the case, so Amazon may have misplaced At least 6 scrapbooking shows are also held in California where I sell my products.
You will need a straight paper trimmer to use it. Curvy cutters are a different type of tool, and they do not work the same as straight cutters.

It was described as a new blade when I ordered it. There was a clear sign of use on the blade I received. As I am dealing with surgical complications, I am not going to bother returning it right now. used to have a very old version of the cutter that was purchased for use with this. My fear was that it wasn't going to fit because it was green and so old. should not have worried about fitting it, it fit perfectly and saved me money while doing up wedding invitations on a budget for my daughter's best friend.
