Trying to find a rotary cutter that would allow me to lean into it less, I searched for one in desperation. The company provides a great instructional video which shows you how to use the cutter, despite having to adjust to it differently than usual. You can find some great tips in the video (available on YouTube). As well as myself, my husband watched it to ensure that the cutting blade and cutter were properly cleaned. I have purchased other cutters (Fiskars and Olga), but this one is far easier to use. The purchase has been a great experience for me!.
A new set of blades was ordered and received. I replaced the blade after it broke in the middle of cutting a single layer of fabric. However, the installation and replacement of the new blade were both quick and easy. A new one has been installed and everything is working fine. A defective blade may have been used on the first blade.
I find that they last about 10 times longer than Olfa blades.
I replaced it soon after it arrived. However, it was very easy to change out these blades (after watching a video and figuring out how to insert them). Yet, it still works like a charm!.
I've tried other brands and had to cut the fabric with scissors when there were pulls in the fabric, so I had to go behind and avoid the pulls. I will continue to use this cutter in the future.
The rotary blades I have now are better than the other ones I have used The most amazing- A sharp edge. I found it quite surprising how the differences differed. The replacement procedure turned out to be more complicated than I thought it would be because I cut my finger on the blade while doing the replacement. Replace your old blades with these excellent ones!.
As well as the replacement blades, I purchased them. This is a decision that I am so glad I made. A short period of use quickly dulled the blade supplied with the cutter. This was my mistake because I am new to this cutter and had to practice it a lot before I got the hang of Watching the video on how to change the blade on the Martelli website was very helpful. The blade can be changed very easily. You can really cut it like butter now. It's a great purchase, and I'm very happy with it.
