I'm not sure, but high-quality batiks might be made in the Caribbean island of St. Kitts. I've visited the factory, and they're all hand-dyed.
Yes, because it's a batik fabric, it's identical on both sides.

My order received excellent service; It arrived when it was supposed to. The fabric is of good quality and comes in a wide range of colors. It was exactly what I was looking for in my quilted placemats. br>However, before using the fabric, it should be washed. When working with cotton fabrics, I always do this to prevent shrinkage. The dyes weren't colorfast in this case, and they bled all over the lingerie bags I use to keep the fabric from tangling. I don't believe the colors appeared faded as a result of it. To me, they still appear to be in good condition. But I'd be disappointed if I spent time and effort on something only to have the colors bleed later.
I'm using a selection of blue fabric to paper (or whatever you want to call it) a wall. More light blues would have been nice, but two-thirds of the fabric was dark, which was too dark for the small bathroom I'm working on. It is, however, a lovely fabric. However, the selection was only adequate, and not at all what I had envisioned.
Robert Kaufman fabrics are my favorites, especially the prisma dyes Open Waters by Lunn Studios. These Fat Quarter sets came in threes.
I'm going to make something with this in the near future.
The dye is lovely. The fabric fold was a little strange, so ironing before cutting is recommended. The fabric is a plain gray color and is not included.
Beautiful batiks that I'm using on my current project; they look exactly like the photos, dark and vibrant. I would strongly suggest it.
I'm a quilter who prefers to do patchwork with smaller pieces because it allows me to use more colors while using less yardage. br>The bundles are color coded.
The fabric is lovely and the quality is excellent.
