It means that if you ordered 1 yard, you got any extra yardage left on the bolt, as well as your yardage and any extra yardage to finish off the bolt.
The thread count on Kona cotton is 60 x 60.
PFD stands for precisely what you've mentioned. Prepare yourself to die. Organic cotton is a good option if you want a fabric that hasn't been treated. I've bought PFD fabric in the past, but I won't buy it again because of how stiff and harsh it feels. Its sole purpose is to absorb dye.
I can't say for certain. If you went to Robert Kaufman's website, you could probably find out; it's probably around 200 yards, and it's a good quilting fabric. I'm not sure I'd use it to make clothes out of it. It's made of 100% cotton and wrinkles when washed. In a quilt, that's not a problem, but if it were a blouse or shirt, you'd have to iron it after every wash.

I bought this fabric to back a baby quilt; I've bought a lot of Kona Cotton over the years, but it wasn't the best choice for backing a baby quilt. I found this fabric to be too stiff and rigid to give a softness to the back of a quilt, so I'm using the rest of the fabric I have on hand for quilt tops. I'll use a softer, more pliable fabric for the backside next time. muslin is an example of a fabric that is similar to muslin Despite this, I continue to use and purchase a lot of Kona cotton, but only for quilt tops.
I'm a big fan of Kona cotton and almost exclusively buy fabric for Amazon. When I went to buy this fabric, however, it said it was 108" wide. After a few days, I went back to the orders and saw that the fabric had changed to 57". I was still fine with it, but I went with the standard 44" width fabric. What a let-down.
It could be considered a winter white, though.
It's a nice, thick fabric. It's also a true white, which is why I only buy Kona white; the Moda Bella solid 98br>(white) is much thinner and dingier than the Kona. If you quilt, this is a must-have.
The fabric is Kona Cotton. It's of excellent quality, dense, and very nice, but it's not cheap. Excellent quality that irons well.
My candy cane and peppermint machine embroidery throw pillow looked great with this fabric. Kona Cotton has never disappointed me, and the deep rich blue background brought the details of my throw pillow to life. ❤️.
Just keep in mind that it will shrink and the piece you will receive will not be rectangular. The difference in length of edges after hot washing and ironing 2 yards of this fabric is 3. 5 inches.
Never in my life have I been let down. I was surprised by the feel and softness of the fabrics, and I wondered if it was cotton. I almost didn't want to cut it. It's what I use to get the perfect thickness in my quilting.
