This makes it easy to create a cool bag. I fell in love with a few of these bags when I had seen them made by a friend. Quilting is a piece of cake with the gridded paper This is evidence. Due to the fact that the bag assumes you know how to line it (which I did not), I gave a 4 rather than a 5 star. I found the solution to my problem by searching the internet. Please keep in mind that the maker has an excellent YouTube video that walks through every step except that one. Although I recommend the finished product, I'd rather go with a cheaper option.
Before buying, I watched a few videos on YouTube and read a few blogs. I had read that there were some confusing instructions. So there was no way I could make this bag without instructions after that. These were so easy to make and so much fun to make that I plan on making them for Christmas presents for my family this year. I only found a flaw in the directions in that the instructions failed to specify that you should make the lining mirror image of the outer bag so the corners would align correctly.
really enjoyed making this bag, I really like how it turned out. The instructions for the lining do not seem clear or you have to make a mirror image of the outside of the bag, I didn't find this to be the case. I have read some reviews that complain that the instructions for the lining are not clear. Despite following the directions exactly as written, I did not have any problems making the bag. In order to continue making these pretty fun bags, I am going to order more interfacing.
Because it has printed interfacing, sewing it was easy, but putting it together was a little confusing, so I watched a video and took pictures of each step, and it was a lot.
This is a wonderful pattern that makes it easy to make a bag of any size. Sewers who are familiar with the pattern will benefit from it. You need to visualize the right side of the stitch and sew it.
